Garden Tower Defense just rolled out a major update, and this one changes how the game is played. Ranked PvP has officially launched, bringing competitive gameplay, leaderboards, and exclusive rewards for those who can climb their way to the top. If you’re jumping in for the first time or returning, this guide breaks down everything in the update, including new features, codes, units, and gameplay adjustments.

Ranked PvP Mode Explained

The biggest highlight of this update is the new Ranked PvP system. Players can now go head-to-head in a 1v1 format to earn ELO and climb through tiered divisions. Every match counts, and your placement determines how far you’ll go this season. Available ranks include:

  • Wood
  • Glass
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Masters
  • Champions

Each rank reflects your progress, and only the best will reach Champions Rank. If you’re aiming high, consistency matters.

A leaderboard has also been added, and every month a new Ranked season begins. With seasonal resets, everyone gets a fresh start and a chance to improve.

Ranked Rewards

Competing isn’t just about bragging rights. Climbing the ranks unlocks exclusive cosmetics and units, including:

  • Banana Peel
  • Diamond Nightshade
  • Masters Banana Peel
  • Champions Thorn Shooter

These rewards are limited to Ranked progress, so casual players won’t be able to get them.

New Units Added

Two limited stock units have also been introduced:

  • Ion Iris (9,999 Seeds)
  • Octoshroom (17,999 Seeds)

Both are low-stock, meaning they may not be available long. If you’re a collector or meta builder, grab them while they’re still listed.

Endless Mode Revamp

Endless Mode now includes weekly changes where certain godly and exclusive units are temporarily locked. The idea is to create a deeper challenge and prevent the same strategies from dominating. Only Endless Mode is affected, so normal play remains unchanged.

Garden Tower Defense New Working Codes

Make sure to redeem these while they’re still active:

  • RANKED – 500 Seeds
  • CHAMPION – 750 Seeds

Use them right away for early progression in the new update. Also check out our Garden Tower Defense Codes list for more rewards!

Quality of Life Improvements

The update includes a long list of fixes and adjustments:

  • Better performance and smoother lobby experience
  • New visual effects and sound updates
  • General UI improvements
  • Exploit patches
  • Bug fixes involving units, trading, and memory issues

Balancing changes were also applied to units, maps, and Endless difficulty. The developers noted that this is the hardest Endless has ever been.

This update brings the biggest competitive shift Garden Tower Defense has seen. With Ranked PvP, rotating Endless restrictions, exclusive seasonal rewards, and limited units in store, the game now encourages long-term progression and strategy. Whether you play casually or aim for the leaderboard, there’s something new to grind for.
