The latest Grow a Garden update adds a new crafting material called Chimera Stone, and it plays an important role in unlocking late-game pets, trades, and crafting progression. Also check out our Grow a Garden Codes and Grow a Garden Animals Tier List!

Since it’s not something you can drop from plants or buy directly, figuring out how to get it can be confusing if you’re just jumping into the new system. This guide breaks down everything you need to know about getting the Chimera Stone, what items you’ll need, and what it’s currently used for.

What Is the Chimera Stone?

The Chimera Stone is a special crafted material used in the latest update. It’s mainly tied to high-tier pets and trading progression, especially anything connected to the Chimera pet line and future rituals. Since it’s a crafted item instead of a drop or random item, players must gather multiple eggs before crafting it.

Required Materials to Craft the Chimera Stone

How to Get Chimera Stone Grow a Garden Guide

To make one Chimera Stone, you’ll need the following items:

  • Mythical Egg
  • Bug Egg
  • Jungle Egg
  • Gem Egg

Each ingredient is required only once per craft, and there are no variants. If you’re missing one of these, you won’t be able to start the crafting process.

Where to Get Each Required Egg

If you’re missing any eggs, here’s a quick summary on how they’re typically obtained:

  • Mythical Egg: Shop.
  • Bug Egg: Shop.
  • Jungle Egg: During the Trading Event.
  • Gem Egg: During the Trading Event.

Depending on the current update patch, the sources may shift, but these four eggs are the core requirements every time.

How to Craft the Chimera Stone

Once you have all four eggs, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Crafting Station.
  2. Open the crafting menu and locate the Chimera Stone recipe.
  3. Place the following into the slots: Mythical Egg, Bug Egg, Jungle Egg, & Gem Egg!
  4. Confirm the recipe and press Craft.

After a short crafting animation, the Chimera Stone will be added to your inventory.

The Chimera Stone may seem simple to craft at first glance, but collecting the required eggs can take time depending on where you are in progression in Grow a Garden. Once you craft it, though, you’ll unlock access to some of the most valuable late-game features in the update. If you’re planning to chase the Chimera pet or future legendary systems, crafting this item sooner rather than later will give you a head start.
