Fisch Mystic Mirror Guide, How to Craft and Use It
Once you clear Merlin’s questline, the game opens up new tools meant to reduce travel time and make progression smoother. One of the biggest upgrades introduced during this stage is the Mystic Mirror. Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!
Unlike boats, whistles, or preset teleport spots, this item lets you create your own warp location anywhere in the world. If you’re planning on grinding resources, moving between shops, or farming rare catches, this item becomes a major time-saver. Below is a complete walkthrough on how to unlock, craft, and use the Mystic Mirror effectively.
Unlocking the Mystic Mirror
The Mystic Mirror doesn’t appear in Merlin’s shop until you finish his full quest chain. Once the quest is done, a new crafting category becomes available through his dialogue menu. The mirror isn’t handed to you directly—you’ll need to gather specific materials before crafting it. To make the Mystic Mirror, you must collect:
- Magic Mirror
- Magical Crystal Geode
- Magical Glass Diamond
Once all materials are ready, return to Merlin and choose the crafting option linked to the Mystic Mirror.
Required Materials and How to Get Them
Here’s how to track down each ingredient.
1. Magic Mirror
The Magic Mirror can only be bought from the Traveling Merchant. It costs 50,000 C$.
Wait for the merchant announcement, locate him, and purchase the mirror. This is the easiest step, so make sure you have the cash ready.
2. Magical Crystal Geode
This item is found inside the Mineshaft, but fishing it up requires a few things:
- Get Merlin’s Veil from Merlin
- Enter the Chasm to reach the Mineshaft
- Use Merlin’s Staff to fish, since it’s required to trigger the magical mutation
Once the mutated version appears, you’re set.
3. Magical Glass Diamond
This material also requires a mutated catch, but from a different location.
Steps:
- Travel to Overgrowth Caves
- Use GPS if available: Coords: 20301, 272, 5470
- Fish using Merlin’s Staff to trigger the magical mutation effect
A normal Glass Diamond is blue. The version needed for crafting is the purple mutated one.
How to Use Mystic Mirror Works
Once crafted, the Mystic Mirror functions differently than items like the Traveler’s Whistle. Instead of teleporting you to fixed landmarks, it lets you set a personal warp point anywhere. How to use it:
- Equip the Mystic Mirror.
- Use it while standing in the location you want saved.
- A mark will appear—this becomes your teleport anchor.
- Travel freely and use the mirror again to instantly warp back.
- If you want to move the mark, hold the input to delete it and place a new one.
This makes it especially useful for long-distance farming, boss routes, or areas with limited access.
The Mystic Mirror becomes one of the most useful items once you’re deep into Fisch progression. It cuts down travel time significantly and gives you full control over your teleport point instead of relying on fixed map destinations.
As long as you’ve completed Merlin’s quest and gathered the right materials, crafting it is straightforward. If you’re planning late-game grinding, this tool should be high on your list. Now that you know how it works—have you set your first warp point yet?
