How to Solve the Crystal Platform Puzzle in Fisch

What You Need to Complete the Puzzle

The three items needed for the Crystal Platform Puzzle are:

• Cut Gem
• Rough Geode
• Radiant Crystal

All three must be placed on their matching pedestals in the puzzle room.

Cut Gem Location and How to Find

The Cut Gem is the easiest item to collect. Inside the mine, look for the rails that a minecart travels along. Nearby, there’s a lever hanging above the path.

Steps to get it:

1. Watch the minecart move until it reaches the rope bridge area.
2. Pull the lever at the right moment.
3. The rail path shifts, moving the cart to the wall.
4. The Cut Gem will be sitting there ready to grab.

Once picked up, the first pedestal is complete.

Rough Geode Location and How to Find

For the Rough Geode, you’ll need to break rocks in the mine. This requires a spear.

If you don’t own a spear yet:

1. Travel to the Lost Jungle area behind Sunstone.
2. Enter the Spear Crafting building in the main town.

Buy one of the available spears:

• Flimsy Spear: 150 Fish Coin
• Steady Spear: 15,000 Fish Coin

After equipping your spear, head back into the mine and destroy the crystal rocks scattered around. Keep doing this until the Rough Geode drops. Now you’re two-thirds finished.

Radiant Crystal Location & How to Find

This is the rarest and most time-consuming piece. You have to fish for it inside the mine itself. Tips to make it faster:

• Use a rod with better catch speed like Nate’s Blade.
• Activate an Aurora if you have one.

Stay in the same underground fishing spot until the Radiant Crystal appears in your results. It may take several attempts, so be patient.

Completing the Puzzle

Once you have all three:

1. Return to the pedestal room.
2. Place each item on its matching slot.
3. A short animation will play.
4. The sealed stone in the room will crack open.
5. You’ll receive the Shard of Time, essential for your progress in Merlin’s quest.
