Update 77 adds several new characters into Anime Last Stand, and each one requires a different method to unlock. With a mix of banner pulls, trial challenges, story progression, and battle pass rewards, this update doesn’t let players rely on a single method to complete their roster.

1. Simon (Banner + Godly Trial)

Simon is the core unit of this update, and he has two stages to unlock:

Step 1: Get Simon from the Banner

Simon is available in the summon banner. If you missed him during the previous Halloween event, this update gives you another chance. Having enough gems saved before summoning helps since his rate may not be high.

Step 2: Complete the Godly Trial

Once you have Simon, the next task is clearing the Godly Trial to evolve him into his Godly form. This trial is tied to the new update theme, so prepare a strong team.

There’s also a hidden permanent interaction after evolution. The devs confirmed rewards for the first players to figure it out and provide proof, so testing different setups may pay off.

2. Anti-Spiral (Spiral Trial)

Anti-Spiral can only be earned through the Spiral Trial, the new challenging mode. This mode includes several new mechanics like shielded enemies and special boss attacks that deal damage to your character directly.

To unlock Anti-Spiral:

• Beat the Spiral Trial
• Collect the evo item if you didn’t earn it during the Halloween Part 2 event

This unit is one of the hardest to grind due to difficulty, so prepare a solid defensive setup.

3. Lord Genome (Legend Stage)

Lord Genome is tied to the new Legend Stage content. To unlock him:

1. Play through the Kamina City missions
2. Reach Legend Stage Act 3
3. Beat the stage to unlock the unit and his needed evolution resource

You’ll also collect Spiral Essence while clearing these acts, which is needed for multiple updated characters.

4. Yoko (Banner)

Yoko is another summon banner unit added in Update 77. She is easier to get than the trial or legend stage units since all you need is enough gems and good luck. Her evolution item, HM82, drops from Story Act 6, so make sure you clear the story content if you want her final form.

5. Panty & Stocking (Battle Pass)

These units are locked behind the Season Battle Pass. To unlock them:

• Buy the Battle Pass if needed
• Progress through levels by completing quests and playing matches

Both characters are free if you level the pass but may require premium purchase depending on player tier.

6. Scanty & Kneesock (Battle Pass Skin)

This is not a unit but a skin included in the Battle Pass progression track. If you want it, the only requirement is seasonal pass progression.
