Dig and Hatch a Brainrot Beginner Guide
Dig and Hatch a Brainrot looks easy at first, but once you start digging, you’ll realize there are many small systems that affect how fast you grow. Your goal is to dig for Eggs, hatch them into Brainrots, and use them to earn money. This guide explains each part clearly so new players can progress without confusion. Best Shovels in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot
Shovels are the main tools you use throughout the game. The more expensive a shovel is, the better its stats usually are. Each shovel has different values for Strength, Speed, Luck, and sometimes a special effect.
Here are all shovels listed in order:
- Wood Shovel
Strength 1, Speed 0.9, No Luck, No effect, Cost $2,500 - Crystallized Shovel
Strength 6, Speed 0.4, Luck 10, +10% Shiny Enhance, Costs Robux - Corrupted Shovel
Strength 6, Speed 0.4, Luck 10, +10% Blood Moon Chance, Not sold currently - Toy Shovel
Strength 1, Speed 0.7, Luck 1, No effect, Cost $15,000 - Spike Shovel
Strength 3, Speed 0.9, Luck 2, No effect, Cost $100,000 - Topaz Shovel
Strength 4, Speed 0.8, Luck 3, +1% Clean Chance, Cost $400,000 - Dragon Shovel
Strength 4, Speed 0.5, Luck 5, No effect, Cost $1,000,000 - Heavenly Shovel
Strength 5, Speed 0.5, Luck 6, +2% Frozen Chance, Cost $4,000,000 - Fractured Shovel
Strength 5, Speed 0.4, Luck 8, +2% Shocked Chance, Cost $25,000,000 - Cosmic Shovel
Strength 8, Speed 0.5, Luck 9, +0.1% Shiny Chance, Cost $100,000,000
If you use Robux, the Crystallized Shovel is the best choice early on. For free-to-play players, start with the Spike Shovel for its great digging speed. After that, you can move to the Topaz Shovel or save up for the Dragon Shovel if you want more Luck.
How to Get Better Brainrots
There are more than forty Brainrots in the game, and getting the rare ones depends on your luck and digging location. Here are the main ways to improve your odds:
- Dig farther from your Plot since outer zones have higher Luck modifiers.
- Use shovels that offer higher Luck or Strength so you can pull stronger Eggs.
- Shovels with mutation bonuses help you find Brainrots that earn more money.
- If you use Robux, activate temporary Luck boosts or Server Luck boosts.
How to Rebirth in Dig and Hatch a Brainrot
Rebirthing gives you permanent bonuses, such as more Brainrot slots, faster digging, and better money multipliers. You can start a Rebirth from the button on the left side of your screen.
Before you can Rebirth, you must meet several requirements, including:
- Reaching a specific money target
- Obtaining certain Brainrots
- Completing the required tasks again even if you already had those Brainrots before
Rebirthing removes all your Shovels, Brainrots, and progress. However, because the bonuses stay forever, you’ll rebuild much faster each time. Rebirths also unlock special machines and features around the map.
How to Stop Players from Stealing Your Brainrots
Players can rob each other in the Dirt zones. If someone attacks you while you’re carrying an Egg, you can’t fight back, so running is usually the safest option. Since you move slower with an Egg, jump repeatedly to boost your speed.
Here are all Bats you can use for either defense or stealing:
- Wood Bat
Cost free, 2s cooldown, Power 25, Stun 1 - Metal Bat
Cost $250,000, 1.5s cooldown, Power 75, Stun 1.5 - Diamond Bat
Cost $1,000,000, 1s cooldown, Power 100, Stun 2 - Big Stick
Costs 319 Robux, 0.5s cooldown, Power 125, Stun 3
The Metal Bat is the best early upgrade because the Wood Bat is too weak to defend your finds.
Once you understand how Shovels, Luck, Zones, and Rebirths work, Dig and Hatch a Brainrot becomes much easier to progress.
