Traits The Forge Roblox Guide, What Is It & How to Get Them

Traits play a big role in shaping your build in The Forge, especially once you start collecting Runes from mining different ores. These traits act as extra bonuses for both weapons and armor, giving your gear more strength and utility. While they don’t appear often, getting the right trait can make your setup far more effective during tougher battles. What Traits  & How to Get Them in The Forge

In the game, traits function as secondary boosts that come from specific Runes. Some improve weapon performance, while others enhance your armor stats. Since each Rune can come with one of these bonuses, they’re worth keeping an eye on whenever you’re out mining. Below are the two main types of traits you can get.

Traits aren’t guaranteed, and most Runes you find won’t have them. When they do show up, they usually come with only one trait. Because of their rarity, it’s best to save trait-bearing Runes for weapons or armor you plan to use long term. There’s no way to force a trait to appear, so the only method is to keep mining and hope luck is on your side.

Weapon Traits

Runes that affect weapons can add one of the following bonuses:

• Attack Speed  Increases your weapon’s swing or attack rate by a percentage.
• Lethality Boosts your weapon’s lethality value, letting you deal more damage to tougher enemies.
• Critical Chance Raises the chance for your weapon to land a critical hit.
• Critical Damage Improves the damage your critical hits deal.
• Fracture Increases the amount of stun damage your attacks inflict.

Armor Traits

Runes meant for armor may come with these secondary boosts:

• Endurance Gives you more stamina, letting you perform actions longer.
• Surge Reduces your dash cooldown so you can evade more often.
• Vitality Adds more HP to your total health pool.
• Phase Extends the brief invincibility period you get after performing a dash.

Traits add an extra layer of depth to your build, and even a single good trait can make a noticeable difference. Keep mining, gather as many Runes as you can, and store the valuable ones for upgrades that matter. With enough patience, you’ll eventually find the perfect trait to power up your gear in The Forge.
