Farmers Market Update Grow a Garden Guide, How to Set Up Booth, & New Feature!
The Farmers Market update brings one of the biggest changes the game has ever had. This new world introduces trading, booths, a fresh currency, and several quality-of-life features that completely change how players interact with each other. If you want a clear rundown of how everything works without all the noise, this guide will walk you through the core systems step-by-step. Also check out our Grow a Garden Codes for more rewards!
What’s New in the Farmers Market Update
The first thing you’ll notice is the new interface. You can check other players’ inventories as long as they allow it, and the menu is now cleaner and easier to navigate. But the real highlight is the Farmers Market itself — a separate area filled with booths, traders, players, and the new token currency that powers the whole update.
Once you enter the Farmers Market, you’ll see far more players than the regular world. This zone is built specifically for trading and selling items through booths. You can also browse crates, cosmetics, and special objects that used to require Robux.
Understanding the Token Currency

Tokens are the center of this update. They’re used to buy things that normally cost Robux, such as:
- Boost crates
- Artisan container cosmetics
- Elemental container cosmetics
- Booth skins
- Special items like the DJ Booth or themed decorations
Currently, you can only get tokens by buying them with Robux or receiving them through trading. There’s no free method yet, but tokens allow players to finally trade for premium items without spending real money — as long as you have something valuable to sell.
Crates, Containers, and Booth Skins

Two main crates are available:
1. Artisan Container
Contains decorative items and booth skins. Many players prefer this crate due to cleaner designs.
2. Elemental Container
Comes with more fantasy-styled skins. It’s a matter of preference, though many players find the Artisan crate more visually appealing.
You can buy any crate with either Robux or Tokens. After purchasing, head to your booth to open and display your new cosmetics.
How to Set Up Booth in Farmers Market
Booths are the key to trading in the Farmers Market.
How to set up:
- Walk up to any open booth.
- Choose your booth skin.
- Press E to open your booth panel.
- Create a listing based on your items.
You can sell:
- Pets
- Plants
- Booth skins
Every item now has wrap (recent average price). This number updates automatically based on the last 50 sales across the server network.
There’s also a 1% tax on all booth listings, so keep that in mind when pricing.
Your booth history logs:
- What you sold
- What you bought
- Time and date of each transaction
A clean tracking system makes trading easier, especially for higher-value items.
Full Guide to Trading Players
If you want to trade directly instead of using a booth, the new trade system now supports:
- Token transfers
- Wrap value warnings
- Total trade value display
- 4-digit trading PIN for safety
- Recovery phrase to reset your PIN
Before you start trading, you must hold Trading Tickets. These are still required and must be obtained from the main game.
The system will warn you if the trade is unfair based on wrap, which prevents scam attempts.
Index and Market Value Tracking
The new Index button shows you the value of every tradable item in the game. You can view:
- All pets
- All plants
- All booth skins
- Their current wrap
- Value changes over dates
This is similar to economy systems in other trading games. It’s one of the biggest steps toward Grow a Garden becoming a major trading-based title.
Extra Settings and Quality-of-Life Features

Two new settings help with gameplay performance:
1. Pet Scaling
Makes giant pets visually shrink for easier viewing.
2. Performance Mode
Removes heavy visual effects to reduce lag, especially helpful for mobile players.
You must rejoin the server if you turn it off.
The Farmers Market update is a complete shift in how Grow a Garden works. Trading is now more controlled, safer, and easier to manage thanks to wrap, tax systems, and trading PINs. Booth customization and token-based crates add long-term goals and deeper cosmetic progression.
The only limitation for now is that tokens require Robux to obtain, but even so, the new economy gives players more freedom to trade for premium items. As the update releases fully, expect the economy to stabilize, booth skins to rise and fall in value, and players to develop new trading strategies. This update sets a new direction for Grow a Garden, and it’s likely just the start of future trading-focused features.
