The tool itself costs 500,000 gold, making it one of the most expensive pickaxes in the game. Before you can buy it, you must first reach the hidden location.

Demon Pickaxe Guide – Step by Step:
Step 1 – Travel to Forgotten Kingdom
Start by entering the Forgotten Kingdom world. From the spawn:
- Go toward the main cave.
- Use the cannon to launch yourself upward.
- Keep following the path until you reach the deeper cave section.
- Look for a breakable wall leading to a lower area.
Continue forward until you find a strange door sealed with a red glow. This is where the Demon Pickaxe is hidden.
Step 2 – Entering the Locked Door
There are two ways to get inside:
Method A – Demon Race (Easiest)
- Switch to the Demon race in the race menu.
- Use the dash ability toward the door.
- With a few tries, you’ll phase through and land in the hidden chamber.

Method B – Portal Glitch (No Demon Race Required)
Players discovered that you can also enter using a portal:
- Place a portal extremely close to the door with almost no gap.
- Use shift lock, hold S + D, and walk through the portal carefully.
- Do not dash. You can sprint, but avoid abilities that push you back.
- With a few attempts, you will clip through.
Using the Dwarf race helps because it makes your hitbox smaller, but it’s not required. Once inside, climb up the ledge and the Demon Pickaxe will be waiting on a pedestal.
Step 3 – Upgrading with Minor Shards
To fix the slow mine speed, you must add Swift Mining minor shards. Each upgrade slot costs 150,000 gold, making the full upgrade path:

- Rune slot costs (3 × 150k): 450,000
- Total: 950,000 gold

How to Get Minor Shards
Minor shards drop mainly from:
- Bombers – 1/15 drop rate
- Delvers – 1/35 drop rate
