What the Secret Quest Is
The hidden mission begins in World 2, and it involves an NPC that is tucked away in a spot players rarely check. The quest itself is simple: bring a specific amount of Banananite, a mineral you can only find in World 1. Even though the task sounds easy, the drop rate and travel time make it a bit of a grind.
How to Start the Quest
- Enter World 2.
- From the spawn point, walk straight behind the dock area.
- You’ll spot a small island in the back. Head toward it.
- Once you reach the island, climb up to the top where you’ll find a Monke NPC.
Talk to him and he will say he’s hungry and asks for Banananite, giving you three different quantity options. Most players choose the 30+ option for better rewards, so this guide follows that path.
Where to Get Banananite
Even though the Monke is in World 2, Banananite does not drop there. You can check the Index to confirm — Banananite only appears in:
- World 1 – Iron Valley
To farm it:
- Travel back to World 1.
- Equip your best pickaxe.
- Head to Iron Valley and start mining.
The drop rate can be slow, so expect a bit of grinding. It may take a while, depending on luck and your tools.
Completing the Quest
Once you’ve collected at least 30 Banananite, return to:
- World 2 → Island behind the dock → Monke NPC
Talk to the Monke again and hand over the required amount.
After giving him the Banananite, the quest will complete, and you’ll receive the reward immediately.
Quest Rewards
Finishing the Monke’s secret quest gives you:
- 5,000 XP
- 10,000 Cash
- A special badge
These rewards aren’t game-breaking, but they’re a nice bonus for players who enjoy completing everything the game offers.
