This guide breaks down every notable hidden quest and area, how to find them, and what you get for completing each one. If you’re looking to save gold or get early upgrades, these quests will help you stack more than you started with.

Bard Quest – Unlocking the Arcane Pickaxe

The first hidden quest worth doing is the Bard quest on Island 1.
Here’s the full route:

How to Start

• Talk to Bard on Island 1.
• He asks you to find his guitar.
• Head into the first cave on Island 1. You’ll see three paths: right, middle, left.
• Go left into the bushes and find a dead body holding the guitar.

Returning the Guitar

• Reset or walk back to Bard.
• Give him the guitar.
• He gives you a key.

Unlocking the Arcane Pickaxe

• Return to the cave and take the right path this time.
• Follow the tunnels until you reach the locked gate.
• Use the key to open it.
• Inside is the Arcane Pickaxe — one of the best tools due to three rune slots.

This pickaxe costs 125k gold and should be your main goal early on.

Goblin King Quest – Hidden Goblin Cave

Once you reach Forgotten Kingdom, you can unlock one of the strangest caves in the game.

How to Start

• Go down to the Goblin King room.
• He asks for around 70k gold.
• Complete his quest a total of five times (you’ll see “Final” once you’re done).
• He drops a key that unlocks a gate behind him.

Goblin Cave Rewards

Inside this cave you’ll find:

• Crystal ores in various colors
• Slimes for your index
• Two extremely rare ores (1/10,000 or lower)
• Several crystal types that respawn only when you mine the rocks around them

The cave isn’t the best for farming, but it’s required for other hidden quests.

Monkey Tag Quest – Bananaite Farm

This is one of the best hidden quests for fast gold.

How to Start

• Travel to Island 2.
• Swim to the small island on the right side of the dock.
• Talk to the monkey named Tag.
• Always choose 30 bananas for the highest payout.

Getting Bananaite

• Only spawns on the monkey island
• Drops only from boulders and rocks
• Does not drop from pebbles
• It’s easy to farm and usually takes around 15 minutes

Bring all 30 Bananaite back to Tag and he pays a generous amount of gold.

Tommo the Explorer Quest – The Hidden Cat

This quest is easy but requires access to the Goblin Cave.

How to Start

• Talk to Tommo on Island 2.
• He wants you to find his cat.

Finding the Cat

• Go to the Goblin Cave
• Look for the waterfall river area
• The middle stone behind the waterfall is a hidden passage
• Go through it to reach the cat
• Grab it and return to Tommo

He gives a large gold reward and unlocks the Cat Lover title.

Line Quest – Fireite Ore

Another hidden quest on Island 2.

How to Start

• Talk to Line near the fire areas
• He asks for 3 Fireite Ores

Getting Fireite

• Drops only from volcanic rocks
• Requires a strong pickaxe
• Has a 1/2000 drop chance

The reward is small but worth doing once.

Daily Killing Quests – Masked Stranger & Amber

These aren’t exactly hidden, but many players forget to do them.

Masked Stranger

• Gives daily tasks to defeat skeleton enemies
• Rewards solid gold each day

Amber

• Gives a second daily quest
• Usually involves defeating Reapers or similar enemies
• Combined, both quests can give around 30k gold daily

Secret Area – Ashen Passage (Demon Pickaxe)

This is one of the most important hidden spots in the entire game.

Requirements

• Demon Race
• Or a specific method to glitch inside

How to Enter

• Go to the hidden door near Island 1
• Dash through the door using Demon mobility
• After a few tries, you’ll enter the Ashen Passage

Inside

• You can buy the Demonic Pickaxe for 500k gold
• Highest mining power
• Good luck
• Lower mining speed
• Has three rune slots

This is the best pickaxe in the game overall, but you cannot leave the room unless you reset.

Secret Lucky Block Cave – Island 1

Another hidden area that almost nobody knows about.

How to Enter

• Go to the left side of Island 1
• Find the triangle-shaped rock wall you can phase through
• Drop into the ladder area with Lucky Blocks

What Drops

• Lucky Blocks drop Fichillium, a cosmetic ore
• Gives fish-like effects to your armor or weapons
• Pure cosmetic, no power boosts
• Rocks here have 10,000 HP, so bring a strong pickaxe

This area is more of an easter egg than a farming zone, but still fun to explore.
