The latest Azure Latch update brings a big shake-up to gameplay with the brand-new Modifiers mode, a fresh currency system, new emotes, balance updates, and fixes that tighten the overall experience. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back in, this update offers plenty of new things to try. Below is a full breakdown so you can understand everything that changed and how to make the most of it. Also check out our Azure latch codes for more rewards!

Modifiers – New Game Mode

The highlight of this update is the Modifiers mode, designed to keep matches unpredictable and fun. You’ll play in a 5v5 format with random changes active every round.

Random Movesets

  • Every round, your moveset is completely shuffled.
  • You might end up with something powerful, odd, or rare.
  • Great for players who enjoy chaotic, high-variance rounds.

Rapid Fire

  • Cooldowns are heavily reduced by 80%.
  • Skills refresh fast, making the entire match feel explosive.

More modifiers are planned in future updates, so expect this mode to expand over time.

New Emotes & MVPs

The update adds several new cosmetics:

  • PBD Emote
  • Turkey Leg Emote and Thanksgiving MVP – free but limited, so collect them before they leave.
  • Heian Period and Sorcerer Party Emote & MVP – available for 267 Robux.

These cosmetics don’t affect gameplay, but they’re great for players who love customizing their profile.

New Currency – Style Coins

A new resource called Style Coins has been added to balance out the huge amounts of unused cash many players have.

How Style Coins Work

  • Used only for styles.
  • Earned through: Match rewards, Cash conversions & Purchases
  • Match earnings are capped at 750 Style Coins per round (equal to about 3 spins).
  • Conversion rate: $100 cash → $s1 Style Coin.

Example: Spending $250,000 cash equals $s2,500 Style Coins. This system ensures late-game players have a new way to spend their stacked currency.

Balance Changes

Several characters received adjustments:

Aiku

  • Reflex Tackle can no longer be movestacked.

Yukimiya

  • Sword Screw (T Special) can’t be used off-ball anymore.

Shidou

  • Reduced Formless height hitbox to make landing hits easier for new players.

Isagi

  • Naruhaya Footwork can now movestack with M1 again.
  • Now has a small chance to cause a “mental breakdown” moment tied to the Mandella Effect as a drawback.

These changes aim to fix stacking exploits and rebalance kit efficiency.

General Updates

  • AI Goalkeeper now tackles when too close and has 1 second of true i-frames on super throw.
  • Don Lorenzo gets new voice lines for multiple abilities.
  • Barou’s On-Ball Flow flashback now plays an opening intro.
  • Gamemodes have moved to a top-bar button.
  • Penalty sizes adjusted for 11v11 to match 5v5.
  • Goal checkers resized for both modes.
  • Secret code removed.

Bug Fixes

  • Music no longer overlaps during Shidou’s Big Bang Drive.
  • Chigiri’s Golden Zone now disappears properly when canceled early.
  • 11v11 penalty warning position corrected.
  • Last-second goals and auto goals no longer count twice.
  • Justice Header no longer breaks randomly.
  • Fixed issues with Aiku’s Former Striker stacking with other abilities.
  • Attempted fixes for Flow movestacking like Kaiser Impact variants.
