Progress in The Forge often comes down to how efficiently you grind. Every second counts, and anything that helps you farm faster or survive longer is worth paying attention to. One tool many players overlook is Totems.
Even if you’re not a Shaman, these items can give you a real boost. This guide explains what Totems do, how to use them, and where you can get them. Also check out our Roblox The Forge Beginner Guide for those interested and the Race Tier List.
What Are Totems in The Forge?
Totems are consumable items that you place on the ground. Once active, they create a radius-based buff that affects you (and anything within range) for a limited time.
Here’s how their timers work:
- Three Totems last 5 minutes
- Two Totems last 30 minutes
Once the duration ends, the Totem disappears. Their effects are temporary, but they’re strong enough to make a big difference during farming sessions.
How to Use Totems
Using a Totem is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Open your Stash
- Find the Totem you want to activate
- Press Equip to add it to a Quick Cast slot
- Go to the spot where you want the buff
- Press the number key linked to that slot
- Left-click to place the Totem
- Stay within its radius to benefit from the effect
Some Totems have an extremely large radius, making them perfect for grinding zones or boss fights.
All Totems in The Forge
There are five Totems currently available, each offering a different bonus:
- XP Totem – Doubles XP gain for 5 minutes
- Luck Totem – +50% Luck for 5 minutes
- Miner Totem – 20% faster mining and +15% mining damage for 5 minutes
- Warrior Totem – Boosts your damage for 30 minutes
- Vitality Totem – Restores health over 30 minutes
The 5-minute Totems are great for quick sessions, while the 30-minute ones are ideal for long farming or dungeon runs.
How to Get Totems in The Forge
Totems can’t be earned through normal gameplay at the moment. There are only three ways to obtain them:
1. Buy Them With Robux
You can purchase every Totem directly from the in-game shop. They’re available individually or in bundle options, depending on how many you want.
2. Essentials Pack
For players who want a starter bundle, the Essentials Pack (149 Robux) includes:
- 1 Miner Totem
- 2 Vitality Totems
- 1 Miner Potion
- 2 Health Potions
- 3 Damage Potions
- 3 Luck Potions
- 3 Speed Potions
- 10 Rerolls
- $5,000 gold
It’s a good value if you need several upgrades at once.
3. Redeem Codes
Some active codes reward you with free Totems. These typically include things like Luck Totem I or Miner Totem I, but they expire quickly, so redeem them as soon as possible.
The Forge Totems might seem optional at first, but they offer strong boosts that help with leveling, mining, and combat. Whether you want to grind faster or make tricky areas easier, dropping a Totem at the right time can speed up your progress in a big way. Keep a few in your stash, especially the ones that last 30 minutes, and you’ll notice the difference almost immediately.
