Best Crafting Recipes Weapons & Heavy Armor Roblox The Forge Guide!
Crafting in The Forge can make a massive difference in your damage, defense, and overall progress. Instead of wasting ores on random combinations, there are specific recipes that give the highest multipliers and the strongest abilities.
This guide shows the best recipes for three top-tier pieces of gear: Colossal Sword, Gauntlets, and Heavy Armor Set. Each one includes a “best version” using Mythic ores and a more accessible recipe using mostly Legendaries. Also check out our Roblox The Forge Beginner Guide for those interested and the Race Tier List.
Understanding Traits and Multipliers
Before crafting, remember two important rules:
- For a trait to activate, the ore must be at least 10% of the total used.
- For the full trait effect, it must reach 30%.
- The Multiplier boosts the base stats. Higher multiplier = stronger gear.
The recipes below are built to give strong multipliers while activating powerful traits like Dodge, Burn, and extra Damage.
Why These Recipes Are the Best
With the top versions of all three armor pieces, you get:
- Around 50% total Dodge chance
- Strong Burn damage every time enemies hit you
- Extra HP, Speed, and Defense
- Very high stat multipliers for both survival and offense
Enemies can slowly burn to death just by attacking you, and you’ll avoid roughly half of incoming hits.
Pair the armor with the best Colossal Sword, and even high-level mobs in Volcanic Depths go down in one or two swings.

If you want to craft medium or light armor instead, you can follow the same pattern: keep the same ore types but adjust the total amounts. These recipes focus on damage, dodge, and survivability—perfect for end-game progression. Once you collect enough ore, build them piece by piece. The results are worth every hour of grinding.
