Players in The Forge often look for quiet servers to mine, farm mobs, or grind shards without interruptions. Even though the game doesn’t offer official private servers, there’s a method to join nearly empty servers using a browser extension. This guide walks you through the process step by step. What You Need Before Starting
You’ll need a browser add-on called BTRoblox (Better Roblox). This extension doesn’t hack or modify the game; it simply adds extra features to the Roblox website, including advanced server sorting. Install BTRoblox through your browser’s web store, then refresh the Roblox website after installation.
How to Find Low-Player Servers in The Forge
Once BTRoblox is installed, follow the steps below:
- Open The Forge game page on Roblox
- Refresh the page to activate the BTRoblox features
- Click the Servers tab
- Change server sorting to Ascending
You’ll now see servers listed from lowest player count to highest. Without BTRoblox, these small servers are hidden and cannot be viewed normally.
Joining a Server Through a Player Profile
Sometimes, when you join a small server, The Forge will move you to another server automatically. To get around that, use this method:
- Join a small server shown in the list
- Once you spawn, press ESC
- Look at the name of the player in the top-right or player list
- Remember or screenshot their username
- Leave the game and search that username on Roblox
- Open their profile and try to Join Game
If their Join setting is enabled, you’ll be placed directly into that quiet server.
If their joins are off, repeat the process with another server until you find someone you can join.
Tips for Faster Results
- Don’t waste too much time on the same username—move on quickly
- Keep a screenshot folder handy to save player names as you test them
- Try different players until you land in a nearly empty server
- If you want a quiet world 1 or world 2 server, repeat the method in those areas
You’re In a “Private” Server When…
Once you manage to join a player directly and they’re alone in the server, you’ll end up in a nearly empty room. It may be only you and that player, or possibly nobody if they leave. This works like a private server even though it’s not officially one. These servers are perfect for:
- AFK farming
- Mining rare materials
- Killing mobs without competition
- Grinding shards and ores efficiently
Even without official private servers, The Forge players can still play peacefully using this simple server-search trick. It’s easy to do, requires no payment, and only needs one browser extension. Give the method a try, experiment with different usernames, and you’ll quickly find quiet grinding spots across the game.
