The Forge Guide Fastest Way to Farm Luck Shards!

Luck shards are some of the most valuable drops in The Forge. They boost your chances of getting rare ores and higher-tier loot, making them important for players aiming to improve their pickaxe.

This guide explains a simple but effective farming method focused on hunting specific mobs called Bombers. With the right setup, you can earn dozens of luck shards every hour. Also check out our Roblox The Forge Beginner Guide for those interested and the Race Tier List.

How the Method Works

The goal is to defeat Bombers using a luck-focused build. Many players believe that your total luck stat increases the odds of getting rune drops. If that’s true, then using a luck setup makes Bomber farming one of the fastest ways to collect luck shards.

Bombers explode on death, but as long as you have your pickaxe equipped, the drop still counts. By triggering passive damage from your armor and letting Bombers blow up near you, you can farm them quickly without constantly attacking.

Recommended Setup

1. Starite Pickaxe

This pickaxe provides a high luck bonus, and players usually want luck shards to upgrade it further.

2. Uranium Gear (Any Piece)

You don’t need a full set. Just one uranium armor piece gives the Radioactive effect, damaging enemies around you when in combat. This allows Bombers to die while you hold your pickaxe.

3. Title: Dedicated Player

Equipping this title gives extra luck.

4. Elf, Demon, or Angel Race

Elf is the easiest to get and provides a luck boost. Other races work too, so choose whatever you have.

5. Luck Potion (Optional)

Drink one before farming to increase drops even more.

Extra Tip: You can also craft armor using uranium to get Radioactive on multiple pieces.

Best Farming Location

From the main entrance to the mines, walk straight through the central path. You’ll reach an area with many skeletons and Bombers. This spot has fast enemy respawn rates and enough space to move safely. To farm effectively:

  1. Keep your pickaxe in hand
  2. Stay in combat so Radioactive activates
  3. Move in circles around the area
  4. Clear normal mobs while waiting for Bombers
  5. Let Bombers die near you to trigger shard drops

Even if they explode, the shard still drops.

AFK Version of the Method

If you prefer a slower but easier approach, do this:

  • Find a spot where multiple skeletons continuously spawn
  • Stand still with your Radioactive armor equipped
  • Let enemies die automatically while you hold your pickaxe

You can also mine near spawning skeletons so passive damage kills them as you work. Drops will be fewer than manual farming but still worthwhile for long sessions.

Players using this method can earn around 30–50 shards per hour, depending on luck. High-value luck shards can roll anywhere from 5% to 20%. Try to aim for shards above 10% before slotting them on your pickaxe.

Some players report streaks where no shards drop for a long time, followed by multiple luck shards appearing quickly. Just keep farming and let the passive damage do the work.

This Bomber farming method is easy, reliable, and works even with mid-game gear. You only need a Starite pickaxe, one uranium piece, and a bit of patience. If you want the best mining setup, these luck shards are worth the grind.

Give the method a try, test different spots in the mines if needed, and track your shard drops over time. With a few strong luck boosts, you’ll be able to gather rare resources much faster across The Forge.
