Grow a Garden Christmas Harvest Event Guide: How It Works, Rewards, and Tips

Snow has officially taken over the Grow a Garden lobby, and with it comes a new limited-time Christmas Harvest event. This festive mechanic works a lot like the Safari Harvest system, except now elves are gathering holiday items for Santa, and they’re willing to trade them for exclusive Christmas rewards. How to Join and Contribute to the Christmas Harvest

The event is located right in the center of the lobby. If you want to get there instantly, use the Event Lantern, or simply walk up to the large sled full of presents and speak to the elf by pressing E.

Your job is simple: bring mutated Christmas plants and submit them to the Present NPC.

How Mutated Christmas Fruits Work

• Every server experiences a Christmas-themed weather effect about every 10 minutes.
• During this weather, plants can mutate into special holiday versions.
• Once harvested, they can be turned in for points and rewards.

Points Earned Per Plant Rarity

Each submitted fruit gives a different amount of progress. Here’s how much each mutation contributes:

• Common: 1 point
• Uncommon: 2 points
• Rare: 3 points
• Legendary: 4 points
• Mythical: 5 points
• Divine: 6 points
• Prismatic: 7 points
• Transcendent: 8 points

You can also hand out Player Gifts to others in the lobby to boost the shared community milestone bar. Higher milestones unlock better items and weather effects, plus expand Santa’s Stash shop.

Tips for Reaching Milestones Faster

To maximize event progress, try these strategies:

• Milestones are shared, so the more people farming, the faster everyone benefits.
• Avoid filling your plot with only one type of plant.
• Use a small plot for mass low-tier planting or a dedicated plot for high rarities.
• Pets that steal fruits, like the Raccoon, can help you grab unique mutated fruits faster.

Individual Rewards from the Present NPC

Submitting Christmas fruits always gives rewards. These are the chances for each present you can receive:

• Normal Present: 40%
• Christmas Present: 25%
• Rare Present: 15%
