6 Fisch FISCHMAS Leaks 2025, What We Know So Far

The holiday season in Fisch is finally getting its spotlight again. This year’s big winter update, known as Fischmas 2025, was officially previewed during a recent Q&A session that only a few thousand players managed to watch. Even from the short preview, there’s quite a lot already revealed, including new maps, new rods, a unique currency, a special reward system, and some surprising features hidden across the event map. Here’s a full breakdown of what has been shown so far.  Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!

1. First Look at the Fischmas Map

The new seasonal area is currently codenamed Northstar Station, a winter town filled with ice, decorations, and eventually a castle area that hasn’t been shown yet. The segment displayed was only one-third of the full map, meaning there’s still a lot unfinished and hidden from players.

Developers also stated that the map will not just be a passive zone. There will be interactive objects, breakable environments, and small secrets that can reward players. Examples given include:

  • Ice paths that crumble as you walk over them.
  • A glass house you can break to get a reward.
  • Hidden activities placed around the zone.

The goal is to make Fischmas feel more laid-back, less grind-heavy compared to Fish Fright, and filled with fun discoveries.

2. New Fischmas Rods Revealed

Three new rods were briefly showcased, though their stats are clearly still placeholders and may change:

Rod Name Lure Speed Luck Control Resilience Max Weight
Gingerbread Rod 50% 65% 0.1 10% 2,000 kg
Peppermint Rod 350% 50% 0.12 12% 10,000 kg
Santa’s Miracle Rod 125% 125% 0.25 25% Infinite

There is also a secret Chaser Rod that developers refused to show, likely related to a boss or special fishing mechanic.

3. New Seasonal Fish & The Northstar Whale

Several holiday fish are coming, including a Stocking Fish with a loud audio cue that can be heard from far away on the map. The main highlight, however, is the Northstar Whale, the chaser fish for Fischmas 2025. It will be difficult to catch, likely requiring high-tier rods, and is expected to bring back the chaos of previous whale incidents in the community.

4. Fischmas Currency: Bells

Instead of complicated tasks or trick-or-treating like in past events, Fischmas uses Bells, earned simply by fishing and selling your catches in the event area. This makes progression more natural and tied directly to gameplay rather than tedious chores.

5. Choose ANY Rod on Christmas Day

One of the biggest reveals is a special reward system happening only on Christmas Day. Players will write a letter requesting any rod they want from the game. After sending it to Santa, they will receive that rod as their gift.

However, there are restrictions:

  • Dev rods and content creator rods are not allowed.
  • Exclusive rods from creators or special events (e.g., Doombringer, Tree Rod, Meiku Rod) are not eligible.
  • Venue rods and other older unlockables such as Polaris, Fabulous Rod, Astral Hook, Eard Drum Rod can be chosen.

Level-locked rods can be claimed but not used until the required level is reached. So don’t expect to skip progression by taking high-tier rods early.

6. More Surprises Coming

Developers hinted that:

  • A bigger trailer will release before the update.
  • A special Christmas login reward is planned.
  • The main event will be more relaxing, with more freedom, fewer chores, and more fun interactions.

Fischmas 2025 looks like a strong return to what made past winter updates so beloved. Players can look forward to a creative map, powerful rods, a fun currency system, and a massive Christmas Day gift that could change progression entirely. With secrets, breakable zones, and the legendary Northstar Whale waiting to be chased, the Fisch community is gearing up for a busy winter weekend. Stay prepared, and keep your best rods ready—something big is coming in Fisch.
