How to Complete the Fischmas Update in Fisch Roblox Guide

The Fischmas update is one of the biggest seasonal events ever added to Fisch, bringing new areas, story quests, limited-time rods, and a long progression path toward the strongest rod in the game. This update mixes exploration, quest grinding, and heavy fishing RNG, so knowing the correct order will save you a lot of time. Santa’s Letter and Free Rod Event

As soon as you log in during the update, a Santa’s Letter popup appears on the right side of the screen. This menu lets you type the name of a rod you want to receive for free.

Important details:

• The letter can only be used from December 24 to December 26
• You can only claim one rod
• You cannot submit anything before the 24th

Once the event is live, simply enter the rod name and submit it. You have two days, so make sure you log in during that window.

Traveling to North Star Station

Head to Moosewood and take the train on the left side to reach North Star Station. A short cutscene plays the first time you arrive.

From here:

• Move forward and use platforms or glide across
• Reach Glacial Ridge, where multiple igloos are located

Each igloo sells a key item you will need later.

  Required to activate the Frost Moon event

Use the zipline to reach the main village. This area contains:

Peppermint Rod (Bells)

• Cost: 4,000 Bells
• Passive: 25% Peppermint mutation chance

• Can be bought immediately after arrival

• Obtained after completing Santa’s full storyline

Santa’s Workshop Questline

Enter Freezing Waters behind the village jukebox to find Santa.

Elf Quests

You must help four elves inside the workshop:

• Find wrapping paper
• Collect ribbons
• Place stockings on the fireplace
• Retrieve a lost hat

These quests are simple item hunts inside the same room.

Finding the Real Santa

After finishing the elf tasks, Santa reveals the truth and asks you to find the real Santa.

• Head toward Overgrowth Cave
• Use climbing and gliding to reach the top area

• Best method: Magnet Rod + Magnet Bait

This is one of the longest grinds in the update.

Giving Presents Quest

You receive 20 presents:

• Give 10 to other players
• Give 10 to snowmen in the central snowy area

After completion, you unlock the final fishing quest.

Catching the Northstar Whale

This is a random and time-consuming catch. While fishing for it, you should also farm:

• Essence of Winter (1 in 1,000 chance, anywhere in village)
• Essence of Star Frost (1 in 150 chance during Frost Moon)

Preparing for the Final Rod

Required items:

• Santa’s Miracle Rod
• Festive Relic (used to enchant the Miracle Rod)
• Essence of Winter
• Essence of Star Frost
• Ever Frost Key (from final Santa quest)
• Frost Moon Totem

Apply a festive enchant to Santa’s Miracle Rod before continuing.

Opening the Vault During Frost Moon

Activate Frost Moon and pull all three levers in the village:

1. Behind the merchant
2. Behind a green house near the Christmas tree
3. On top of a house ladder

Once done, the vault opens.

Cryoshock Serpent and Maelstrom Rod

Inside the vault:

• Pour Essence of Winter and Star Frost into the serpent statues
• Use the Ever Frost Key
• Fish and defeat the Cryoshock Serpent

After completing the bestiary, cross the falling platforms to reach the shop.
