How to Help All Elves in 99 Nights In The Forest (Christmas Event Guide)
The Christmas event in 99 Nights In The Forest adds a new way to earn Candy Canes and event rewards by helping elves scattered across the snowy map. Many players think there is a fixed list of elf locations, but the system actually works a bit differently.
Instead of following strict markers, you need to understand how elf quests spawn and how to tell which elves can be helped. This guide breaks it all down in a simple way so you do not waste time running around aimlessly. Also check out our 99 Nights in The Forest Codes!
How to Help All Elves
Elves appear in many places around the forest during the Christmas event. However, not every elf you see will give you a quest. Here is how the system works:
- Find Elves Around Snowy Areas Elves usually spawn in snowy zones across the map. Some are standing on the ground. Others can be stuck on trees, cliffs, or raised spots. You may also find elves close to paths or near resource areas
- Check If the Elf Has a Quest Not all elves are quest-givers. Quest elves will let you interact with them. Non-quest elves cannot be helped and are just decorative. If interaction does not start, move on and keep searching!
- Complete the Elf’s Task When you find a quest elf, they will ask you to complete a random task. These tasks can include: Gathering items, Building or placing objects, Helping them get unstuck & Completing small survival-related actions!
- Receive Candy Canes as Rewards After finishing the task, you will be rewarded, usually with Candy Canes and sometimes additional loot like presents or gear.
- Repeat With Other Elves There is no fixed order. Just keep exploring snowy areas and interacting with elves until you find more quest-givers.
Tips When Searching for Elves
- Not Every Elf Is Active Some elves, especially near spawn, may not be quest-related.
- Time and Progress May Matter Certain elf quests may only become available after surviving a number of in-game days.
- Explore Beyond Spawn Elves that offer quests are more commonly found deeper in the forest rather than right at the starting area.
- Always Check Snowy Zones If an area has snow, there is a good chance an elf might spawn nearby.
Rewards for Helping Elves
- Candy Canes for the Christmas event
- Presents containing random items
- Event-related progression rewards
These items are limited-time and only available during the Christmas event.
Helping all elves in 99 Nights In The Forest is more about exploration than memorizing locations. Focus on snowy areas, interact with every elf you find, and complete quests whenever possible. As long as you keep moving and checking new zones, you will steadily earn Candy Canes and event rewards before the Christmas event ends.
