Anime Last Stand Christmas Part 2 What You Need to Do Before Godly Update!
Anime Last Stand is about to receive what many players believe will be its biggest update so far. Godly Christmas Part 2 is heavily teased, and all signs point to major changes, including a Goku rework or extreme boost and possible new rarity power creep.
If you want to stay competitive and avoid falling behind, there are several important things you should prepare before the update goes live. Also check out our Anime Last Stand Codes for more rewards!
1. Prepare Your Goku Early

The first and most important step is getting your Goku ready. Goku is almost guaranteed to be a central unit in this update, either through a rework or a massive boost. You should start rolling proper traits now, especially Glitched or Mystical.
It may be smart to hold off on fully committing double traits until the update confirms how broken he actually becomes, but having Goku ready puts you far ahead once the update drops.
2. Secure Meta Units Before Power Creep Hits
Power creep in Anime Last Stand has been extreme lately, and this update is expected to push it even further. Units like Itadori and Guts currently dominate damage charts, with Itadori sitting far above most units in raw output. Even if charts do not always show true potential in every mode, these units are still worth getting.
Other units you should strongly consider adding to your account include Makima, Regulus, and White Haired Witch. These characters remain relevant due to their range, gimmicks, and scaling.
Makima in particular is a must-have for both farming and difficult content. Regulus and White Haired Witch continue to shine because their mechanics allow them to stay useful even as new units are introduced.
3. Finish Limited-Time Events and Craft Important Items

Event preparation is just as important as unit collection. Thanksgiving and Christmas Part 1 events may end sooner than expected, even if timers suggest otherwise. One of the most important items to craft right now is the turkey, which provides a huge level boost. The difference between having it and missing it is massive, often doubling a unit’s damage.
You should also finish crafting the snowman from Christmas Part 1. Snowflakes are easy to farm, and the entire process only takes a short grind. Missing these event items could leave your account noticeably weaker going into Part 2.
4. Clear Shops, Passes, and Check Resets
Before the update arrives, make sure you clear event shops and obtain any units or items you want. Farming these later will be much slower and less enjoyable. You should also keep an eye on both the event pass and the normal battle pass, as battle pass resets tend to happen quietly. Even if the units are not meta-defining, they are still worth collecting.
Tournaments appear to be running weekly now, so make sure you finish them if you are low on rewards. These small preparations add up quickly when a big update drops.
5. Optimize Farms, Teams, and Trait Locks
Strong farming units should always come first. More money means smoother early waves, faster setups, and less stress when learning new content. Craft crates ahead of time to stock up on trait locks, and prioritize getting double traits on farm units before damage dealers.
For teams, focus on units that define macro farming and event clears. Guts and White Haired Witch are currently excellent for this role, alongside Makima-based setups. These units will likely remain relevant even as new content arrives.
Godly Christmas Part 2 is shaping up to be a major turning point for Anime Last Stand, with heavy power creep, major unit changes, and possibly new rarity systems. Preparing your units, finishing events, stacking resources, and optimizing teams now will save you a lot of time later. While the meta may shift again after the update, being ready ensures you can jump straight into grinding instead of playing catch-up.
