The latest Slap Battles update brings a full winter makeover along with new gloves, badges, and a major overhaul to Snowball Smash. This update is more than just cosmetic changes. Also check out our Slap Battles Codes for more rewards!
It adds new mechanics, quests, and rewards that impact how players grind gloves and badges. In this guide, we break down everything included in the Elf Glove update, explain what changed, and highlight what you should focus on first.
Elf Glove and New Badges Explained
The biggest highlight of this update is the Elf Glove, which is tied to the Snowball Smash revamp. Alongside it, two new badges were added that reward players for participating in the new winter content.
Snowball Synergy Badge
This badge is directly linked to the Elf Glove. Earning Snowball Synergy unlocks the Elf Glove, making Snowball Smash the main activity you need to focus on.
King of the Snowhill Badge
This badge rewards players who dominate the new Snowball Smash objective system. It also unlocks a special hit effect called King of the Snowhill, adding a visual reward for competitive players.
Snowball Smash Revamp Overview

Snowball Smash received a full rework to improve pacing and gameplay variety. The mode now feels less repetitive and more strategic.
Dynamic Hill Locations
The hill objective no longer stays in one fixed spot. It now shifts locations, forcing players to move and adapt instead of camping one area.
New Class System
Three classes were added, each with different health values and playstyles:
- Light: Faster movement, lower health
- Medium: Balanced stats
- Heavy: Slower but much tankier
This change adds depth and makes positioning more important.
New Interactive Items
Three new items were added to Snowball Smash:
- Rock: Used for disruption and pressure
- Drink: Provides temporary advantages
- Spring: Focuses on mobility and repositioning
Each item interacts differently with classes, creating more strategy during matches.
New Quests and Rewards
Three new Snowball Smash quests were added. Completing these quests grants unique rewards, including gloves and hit effects.
- Yuletide Might: Unlocks the Santa Glove
- Snowball Synergy: Unlocks the Elf Glove
- King of the Snowhill: Unlocks a special hit effect
These quests replace older, more frustrating requirements and make progression feel smoother.
Jerry the Snowman Bossfight Changes

The Jerry boss fight was adjusted to remove unnecessary stalling.
- Santa glove no longer requires waiting through stalling mechanics
- Quest name changed from “It’ll be lonely this Christmas” to Yuletide Might
This makes boss-related progress faster and less tedious.
Festive Frost Box Crate
A new crate called the Festive Frost Box was added. This crate includes winter-themed cosmetics and future rewards tied to spawn effects.
Speaking of which, new spawn effects were also introduced and will appear in upcoming crates.
Map and Lobby Visual Updates
The entire map and lobby received festive upgrades. Snowy textures, winter decorations, and holiday lighting give Slap Battles a seasonal atmosphere without affecting gameplay balance.
Balance Changes and Quality Fixes
Several gloves and systems were adjusted in this update:
Pepper C. Mint
- Added animation variants for smoother visuals
Squid
- Ink splatter count reduced by 20% for better clarity
Leafblower
- Leaves take longer to form piles
- Leaf hitboxes increased for better interaction
Tinkerer
- Fixed mastery UI persisting after death
- Second mastery quest requirement reduced from 500 to 350 slaps
Stalker Mastery
- Stalk speed now depends on distance
- Audio cues gradually increase while stalking
- Visual eye effects appear over time
Mitten and Snowball Glove Obtainment Boost
Both Mitten and Snowball gloves now have a 10x higher chance to be obtained. This is a great opportunity for players who struggled with these gloves before.
The Elf Glove update is one of Slap Battles’ most content-packed seasonal updates. With a fully revamped Snowball Smash mode, new badges, improved quests, and festive rewards, there is plenty to grind without feeling repetitive. If you want the Elf Glove or Santa Glove, focus on Snowball Smash quests first and take advantage of the boosted obtainment rates while the event is active.
