Anime Auto Chess Traits Tier List
Below is a full breakdown of traits based on overall usefulness, consistency, and impact across most team setups. Higher rarity traits usually give stronger bonuses, but synergy with your unit’s role still matters.
S Tier Traits (Top Priority)
These traits give the biggest power boost and work well on almost any strong unit.
- Deity One of the strongest traits in the game. It boosts both attack damage and ability power while also giving defensive stats, mana gain, attack speed, and ability haste. Deity works on nearly every unit and is never a bad roll.
- Blade Master A very balanced trait that improves damage, mana gain, survivability, and attack speed. The extra parry and dodge chance make it especially strong for frontline or melee-focused units.
- Godspeed Perfect for fast-paced units. It increases movement speed, attack speed, and overall combat flow. Units with Godspeed reposition quickly and apply pressure nonstop.
- Vanguard A top-tier defensive trait. Vanguard is ideal for tanks and frontliners thanks to bonus armor, resistance, HP, and ability haste.
A Tier Traits (Very Strong)
These traits are excellent and worth keeping in most situations.
- Blood Lust Great for sustain-focused units. The vampiric bonus allows champions to stay alive longer while dealing solid damage.
- Harvester Strong all-around trait with damage, mana gain, and attack speed. Works especially well for units that rely on frequent ability usage.
- Maskman A reliable damage trait focused on critical chance, crit damage, and attack speed. Best used on physical DPS units.
- Critical III High crit chance and crit damage make this a solid pick for late-game damage dealers.
- Nimble III Huge movement speed bonus combined with attack speed. Very useful for kiting or fast-clearing units.
- Reinforce III A simple but effective defensive trait that increases both armor and resistance.
B Tier Traits (Decent Choices)
These traits are usable but more situational.
- Guardian A solid defensive option that also gives ability haste. Good for frontline units early on.
- Scholar Provides ability power and mana gain, but its value depends heavily on mage units, which are not very common.
- Adept Best used early game or on units you want to level faster thanks to the bonus EXP.
- Strong III A basic damage boost that works fine but lacks utility.
- Carrier II Offers moderate damage increases but is outclassed by higher-tier traits.
- Fortitude III Pure HP boost. Useful on tanks but lacks flexibility.
- Flexibility III Provides dodge and parry chance, decent but not game-changing.
C Tier Traits (Low Impact)
These traits are usually placeholders until you roll something better.

- Nimble II
- Reinforce II
- Fortitude II
- Carrier I
- Flexibility I
They give minor stat boosts and rarely make a noticeable difference in difficult stages.
