Krampus Hunty Zombies Guide, Best Build & Strategy Guide How to Beat!

Krampus is currently the toughest raid boss ever added to Hunty Zombies. With a massive 50 million HP, going in with a standard raid setup will almost always end in a timeout or a wipe.

However, this fight becomes much easier once you stop focusing on random damage and instead build around multiplying one massive skill hit repeatedly. Also check out our Hunty Zombies Codes for more rewards!

With the right setup, Krampus turns from an impossible wall into a slow but controlled farm. This guide breaks down the best weapons, full build, pets, perks, and the exact rotation you should use to defeat Krampus consistently.

Best Weapons for Krampus Raid

The entire strategy revolves around bursting with your strongest skill while all multipliers are active.

Candy Cane (Limited)

Candy Cane is one of the most reliable options for this raid. Its awakening is very strong and can carry the fight even if your gear is not perfect.

  • Upgrades: 5 Cooldown, 2 Damage
  • Best Traits: Critical Damage, Prodigy, or Yoriichi
  • Strength: Consistent burst and easy timing

Joker

Joker remains one of the best boss weapons in the game thanks to its second skill.

  • Upgrades: 5 Cooldown, 2 Damage
  • Best Traits: Critical Damage, Prodigy, or Yoriichi
  • Strength: Huge single-hit damage when timed correctly
  • Downside: Harder to obtain

Blindfold (Celestial)

Blindfold is the strongest overall weapon in Hunty Zombies. If you have it, it is one of the best choices for Krampus.

  • Upgrades: 5 Cooldown, 2 Damage
  • Best Traits: Critical Damage, Prodigy, or Yoriichi
  • Strength: High damage in all situations

Why Dual Guns Are Mandatory

No matter which main weapon you use, Dual Guns are required for this method.

  • Purpose: Trigger pet and passive effects quickly
  • Damage does not matter
  • Upgrades: 7 Cooldown
  • Trait: Not required

Dual Guns allow you to cast skills rapidly to set up your multipliers without wasting time.

Best Cosmetics for Krampus

Cosmetics are not optional for this raid. They are direct damage multipliers.

Gold Christmas Present (Mandatory)

This cosmetic is free from the Battle Pass and is one of the strongest in the game.

  • 40% Walk Speed
  • 40% Crit Chance
  • 30% Crit Damage
  • 100% Skill Damage

This single cosmetic massively increases your Krampus damage and is required for fast clears.

Second Cosmetic Slot Options

Frosty Gingerbread (Recommended)

  • 60 Health
  • 40 Damage
  • 54% Crit Damage
  • Strength VI when HP is below 80%

Red Blade (If You Own It)

  • 50 Health
  • 35 Damage
  • 45% Crit Damage
  • Strength V when HP is below 80%
  • Currently unobtainable

Important: Frosty Gingerbread and Red Blade do not stack. Use only one alongside Gold Christmas Present.

Best Perks to Use

You have two strong choices depending on your playstyle:

  • Undead – Faster rotations, movement speed, and cooldown reduction
  • Double Damage – Simple and effective raw damage boost

Undead usually gives faster clears if your build already has good crit stats.

Skill Tree Setup

Crit skills are currently bugged and only affect M1 attacks. Because of this, the best choice for Krampus is:

  • Full Attack Skill Tree
  • Grants 50% Attack
  • Applies to skill damage, which is essential for this fight

Best Pets for Krampus

Divine Presh (Core Pet)

This pet is the backbone of the strategy.

  • Crit Chance and Crit Damage
  • Walk Speed and Cooldown Reduction
  • Every 10th attack deals double damage

This double-damage proc is what turns your strongest skill into a raid nuke.

Secondary Pet Options

  • Cosplay Pet (Best Pair) – Every 5th attack deals triple damage (currently unobtainable)
  • Sorcerer Cat (Best Alternative) – High damage, skill damage, crit stats, and overall DPS boost

Best Passives

You want to unlock Berserker, which is one of the strongest boss passives.

  • Mythical ATK (+3 Attack)
  • Mythical AP (+20% Skill Damage)

Berserker effect: Every 5th skill deals 1.75x damage, stacking perfectly with Presh timing.

Krampus Raid Strategy and Rotation

Step 1: Lower Your HP on Purpose

Before starting the boss, drop your HP below 80% to activate Strength from Frosty Gingerbread or Red Blade. Take a small hit, back off, and keep your HP under the threshold.

Step 2: Build Multipliers with Dual Guns

Use Dual Guns to cast skills quickly.

  • Cast 9 skills rapidly
  • This sets up Divine Presh’s double-damage proc
  • Do not spam randomly or waste the proc

Step 3: Swap and Nuke

Switch to your main weapon and use your strongest skill only.

  • Candy Cane: Highest damage skill or awakening
  • Joker: Second skill
  • Blindfold: Strongest skill available

This hit should land when:

  • Gold Christmas Present is active
  • Berserker is ready
  • Divine Presh double damage triggers
  • Crit chance and crit damage apply

Step 4: Repeat the Rotation

Swap back to Dual Guns, rebuild the setup, then drop another boosted hit. Avoid wasting your double-damage proc on weak skills.

Krampus may have 50 million HP, but with the right build and rotation, the fight becomes controlled and efficient. Instead of spamming damage, this method focuses on stacking multipliers and landing repeated burst nukes. Once mastered, you will farm Krampus coins faster than most teams running unoptimized setups in Hunty Zombies. If you follow this exact strategy, Krampus stops feeling impossible and turns into a long but manageable raid you can clear consistently.
