The Forge Santa’s Winter Event, Quest, Shop & Reset Guide!

The Winter update in the Forge brings more than just snow and icy zones. From December 25, 2025 to January 1, 2026, a special holiday-themed boat arrives, carrying Santa and his limited-time shop. With new quests, daily resets, and exclusive rewards tied to XMas Tickets, it can be hard to know where to start. This guide breaks down where to find Santa, how his quests work, and which rewards are worth prioritizing during the event. Where to Find Santa’s Shop in the Forge

Santa’s Shop is located on the Frostspire Expanse, which is the third island in the Forge. To access this area, your character must be at least Level 70. If you are below that level, you will need to spend some time leveling up before the event becomes available to you.

Once you meet the level requirement, place a portal and travel to Frostspire Expanse. Santa’s festive boat can be found right at the docks near the spawn point, making it easy to spot as soon as you arrive.

How to Start Santa’s Quests

To begin Santa’s quests, simply interact with Santa on his boat. You will be given three different quest categories to choose from:

  • Fight
  • Mine
  • Forge

You can activate all three quest types at once, which saves time and avoids unnecessary backtracking. After accepting them, head to the Spider Cave, as most of the event objectives take place there.

Each completed quest rewards XMas Tickets, the event currency used to buy items from Santa’s Shop. Since many rewards are limited and expensive, completing every available quest each day is the best way to maximize ticket gains.

All Santa Quests in the Forge

Santa’s quests start off simple but become more demanding as the days progress. Below is a full breakdown of each task and how to complete them efficiently.

Santa’s Workshop Warm-Up (Day 1) – 120 XMas Tickets

  • Forge 3 weapons
  • Forge 3 armor pieces

There are no material restrictions here. Use your lowest-tier ores to craft basic items like daggers or lightweight helmets to finish this quickly.

Cold as Snow (Day 1) – 140 XMas Tickets

  • Mine 50 Icy Pebbles

Icy Pebbles can be mined in the Spider Cave using either the Arcane Pickaxe or Demonic Pickaxe from the second world. If you already own a stronger pickaxe from the third island, that will work even faster.

Santa’s Pest Control (Day 1) – 160 XMas Tickets

  • Defeat 25 Crystal Spiders
  • Defeat 5 Diamond Spiders

Crystal Spiders have low health but can still deal damage if you are careless. A weapon with 80–100 damage is recommended. Both spider types can be found deeper in the Spider Cave. Watch your health and avoid getting overwhelmed.

Santa’s Workshop Warm-Up (Day 2) – 140 XMas Tickets

  • Forge 3 weapons
  • Forge 3 armor pieces

This quest is identical to Day 1, so you can repeat the same strategy without any changes.

Cold as Snow – Frozen Layers (Day 2) – 145 XMas Tickets

  • Mine 10 Icy Pebbles
  • Mine 50 Ice Rocks

Ice Rocks can only be mined with third-world pickaxes. While the Tungsten Pickaxe works, the Aqua Pickaxe is a much better option due to its stronger stats and faster mining speed.

Santa’s Pest Control – 2 (Day 2) – 210 XMas Tickets

  • Defeat 25 Diamond Spiders
  • Defeat 3 Prismarine Spiders

Prismarine Spiders are extremely dangerous. If you die during the fight and return to finish them, the kill may not count. If your health drops too low, disengage and let it recover before continuing. Diamond Spiders can also stun and surround you, so positioning is critical.

When Do Santa’s Quests Reset?

Santa’s quests operate on a 24-hour personal timer, not a global server reset. This means the countdown starts the moment you complete a quest, not at a fixed daily time.

You can only complete one quest per category each cycle, so once they are done, you must wait a full 24 hours before repeating them. Planning your playtime carefully helps avoid wasting potential ticket gains.

Santa Shop Rewards

Santa’s Shop offers a mix of consumables, totems, and limited blueprints. While many items are useful, anything labeled Limited should be treated as high priority. Some standout rewards include:

  • Christmas Potion – Boosts mining speed, damage, and luck for 900 seconds
  • XP, Vitality, Warrior, Miner, and Luck Totems – Temporary buffs for leveling, combat, and mining
  • Hell Slayer Blueprint – Limited straight sword recipe
  • Candy Cane Blueprint – High-cost limited sword blueprint
  • Candy Cane Pickaxe – Strong mining stats with high luck bonus
  • Christmas Pickaxe – One of the best mining tools available during the event
  • Race Reroll – Allows you to change your race

Limited weapons and pickaxes should be your top targets, as they may not return in future events.

Santa’s Winter event in the Forge is packed with valuable content, but it rewards players who plan ahead and complete quests consistently. With daily resets tied to personal timers and several limited items in the shop, missing a day can slow your progress significantly. Focus on finishing every quest, saving XMas Tickets wisely, and prioritizing limited rewards to get the most out of this holiday event before it ends.
