What Is Jujutsu Zero Update 1 BETA?

Update 1 BETA is designed to refine the core gameplay experience. The developers made it clear that this update prioritizes stat balance, cursed techniques, items, and progression systems, ensuring the game is in a healthier state moving forward. Since the game is still in beta, some inconveniences are expected, but many long-standing issues are finally addressed here.

New Cursed Technique – Disaster Tides

The biggest highlight of this update is the addition of a new Special Grade Cursed Technique called Disaster Tides.

Key details:

  • Currently functions as a smaller version of Dagon
  • Will be evolvable in a future update
  • Planned to upgrade into a full-sized Dagon CT later on

This makes Disaster Tides a long-term investment rather than a finished ability.

Permanent Binding Vows and Heavenly Restrictions

Two major progression paths were added through Permanent Binding Vows, each requiring a basic questline to unlock.

Available options:

  • Physical Heavenly Restriction
  • Sorcery Heavenly Restriction

Important notes:

  • These are one-time use
  • If removed, they must be crafted again
  • They significantly alter your playstyle

New Toji Raid (Level 200–500)

A brand-new Toji Raid has been added with four difficulty tiers.

Raid highlights:

  • Designed for mid to late-game players
  • Difficulty scales from level 200 up to 500
  • Offers improved rewards compared to older raid content

This raid is one of the best ways to test new builds after the balance changes.

New Weapons You Can Now Obtain

Newly available weapons:

  • Inverted Spear of Heaven – Questline or crate
  • Festering Life Sword – Crate only

To support late-game players, the update adds:

  • Additional quests for levels 200 to 470
  • Increased daily quest limit
  • Adjusted NPC XP and mastery gain

These changes make grinding significantly more rewarding.
