Many players are confused about where to start, which version to choose, and whether the grind is worth it. This guide breaks everything down clearly, from trainer locations to quest requirements and stat benefits, so you can unlock Heavenly Restriction without wasting time.
What Is Heavenly Restriction in Jujutsu Zero?
Heavenly Restriction is a special endgame system that grants extreme stat bonuses in exchange for heavy limitations. In Update 1, there are two types of Heavenly Restriction available:
- Sorcerer Heavenly Restriction
- Physical Heavenly Restriction
Each version is unlocked through the same quest chain but affects gameplay very differently. Choosing the right one depends on whether you rely more on cursed techniques or physical combat.
Heavenly Restriction Trainer Location
To begin unlocking Heavenly Restriction, you must find the Heavenly Restriction Trainer NPC. This NPC provides a series of four quests that must be completed in order. Both types of Heavenly Restriction are unlocked from this same trainer, so you do not need to visit multiple NPCs.
Once you interact with the trainer, you will immediately receive the first quest.
Heavenly Restriction Quest Requirements
Unlocking Heavenly Restriction requires completing four quests. The first three focus on endurance, while the last one requires rare materials.
Quest 1: Point Accumulation
You must stand inside a designated circle and accumulate 2,500 points.
This quest is simple but time-consuming, usually taking around 10–15 minutes if uninterrupted.
Quest 2: Higher Point Requirement
The second quest works exactly like the first but increases the requirement to 5,000 points.
Expect a longer grind, especially if you leave the circle frequently.
Quest 3: Final Point Challenge
The third quest raises the requirement again to 7,000 points.
This is the longest of the three and tests your patience more than difficulty.
Quest 4: Material Collection
The final quest requires rare drops to permanently unlock Heavenly Restriction:
Required materials:
- 5 Vow Tier 3
- 5 Heavenly Fragments
- 1 Physical Binding
How to obtain them:
- Vow Tier 3 and Heavenly Fragments drop from Special Grade Chests, New Jolly Chests, and Raid Boss Chests
- Physical Binding drops from the Sorcerer Killer Raid Boss chest on Hard or Nightmare difficulty
Once all items are collected, return to the trainer to unlock Heavenly Restriction.
Is Heavenly Restriction Worth It?
Yes, especially for endgame players. Boss fights become significantly faster, and cursed techniques deal absurd damage even on Nightmare difficulty. While you lose survivability and weapon access, the raw damage and cooldown reduction more than compensate if your build is optimized.
Heavenly Restriction in Jujutsu Zero Update 1 is one of the strongest progression systems added so far. While the grind takes time, the reward completely changes how your character performs in raids and boss fights. If your playstyle focuses on cursed techniques, Sorcerer Heavenly Restriction is easily one of the best upgrades you can get right now.
Take your time completing the quests, farm the right chests, and choose the restriction that fits your build. Once unlocked, Heavenly Restriction turns your character into a true endgame powerhouse.
