To complete the book, you must collect 27 pages, also known as Athena Notes. These pages do not appear in normal seas. They can only be found in the Dark Sea, specifically on Siren Islands.

How to Get Athena’s Chosen Title

To unlock the Athena’s Chosen title, you must follow these steps:

1. Enter the Dark Sea
2. Travel to areas where Siren Islands begin spawning
3. Search Siren Islands for Athena Notes
4. Collect all 27 pages of the Book of Athena
5. Find the Athena Statue island
6. Interact with the statue to trigger a cutscene

Once completed, you will receive:

• Athena’s Chosen title
• Athena’s Power Spirit Imbuement
• A sensing ability buff

Where Athena Notes Spawn

Athena Notes spawn randomly on Siren Islands. Important things to know:

• Not every Siren Island has a page
• Pages are easy to spot due to a bright, white glowing aura
• You may need to visit far more than 27 islands to find all pages

On average, players find one Athena Note every 2 to 3 Siren Islands. This makes the process time-consuming, especially without preparation.

Best Strategy to Farm Athena Pages Faster

1. Use a Fast Ship

Speed is everything. The faster your ship, the quicker you can move between Siren Islands. A ship with high speed makes a massive difference over long farming sessions.

2. Sail to Insanity 1

Siren Islands begin spawning around Insanity 1. Focus your route here instead of going deeper into higher insanity levels.

3. Equip Warding Gear

Use gear that gives at least Warding 2 to reduce insanity effects. This keeps your screen clear and helps you farm faster.

4. Ignore Sirens

Fighting sirens wastes time and resources. You can safely ignore them and focus only on searching the island for Athena Notes.

5. Only Visit Siren Islands

Do not stop for Dark Sealed Chests or other islands. This is page farming, not an expedition run.

6. Destroy Atlantean Ships

If an Atlantean ship or brig appears, sink it immediately. If you ignore it, it may follow you and destroy your ship while you are searching an island.

7. Stack Defense

High defense lets you tank siren attacks while searching. This saves time and avoids unnecessary deaths.

Finding the Athena Statue

After collecting all 27 pages, the Athena Statue island becomes available to spawn anywhere in the Dark Sea. Best method:

• Return to Insanity 0
• Slowly search the area until the statue island appears

Once found, walk in front of the statue to trigger a cutscene similar to the Poseidon statue at Mount Orthus.

Athena’s Chosen Rewards Explained

1. Athena’s Chosen Title

• Changes your name color in the player list
• Similar color style to Epicenter Explorer
• Purely cosmetic but highly prestigious

2. Athena’s Power Spirit Imbuement

• Adds a light pink aura to spirit weapons
• Only works with two spirit weapons

Imbue interactions:

• Tide Stone Band: Unstable imbue, +20% size, +2 drawback
• Eagle Patrimony: Synergy imbue, +15% power

Other spirit weapons currently have no synergy or unstable effects with Athena’s power.

3. Sensing Ability Buff

• Allows you to sense damaged targets for 50% longer
• Extremely useful in PvP and Dark Sea combat
