Starting the Goblin King Quest
To begin the update, head to the area near the Spider Cave and follow the path upward until you find the Goblin King NPC. This questline is mostly resource-based and requires large amounts of gold and rare materials. Goblin King quest requirements:
- 2,500 Gold
- 1 Velchire + 50,000 Gold
- 2 Sanctis + 7,500 Gold
- Snowite ore + 150,000 Gold
- 3 Iceite + 250,000 Gold
After completing all requests, you unlock the Goblin Crown recipe, which is a new heavy helmet. This helmet is stronger than older gear and can be further improved through crafting upgrades.
New Armor and Crafting Changes
Once the Goblin King quest is complete, you’ll gain access to new armor tiers, including:
- Goblin Crown (Heavy Helmet)
- Raven Helmet (Unlocked later)
These new helmets are stronger than previous options like the Viking Helmet, making them a solid upgrade for late-game players. Perfect crafting still helps fill the crafting bar faster, but even non-perfect crafts are viable.
Raven Questline and Key Progression
The Raven questline is required to unlock the new cave added in this update.
Raven Quest Part 1
You’ll find the Raven near the Spider Cave.
Objectives:
- Kill 5 spiders
- Mine 10 Icy Pebbles
- Bring 1 Aetherit
Completing this unlocks the Raven Helmet recipe, which is stronger than the Goblin Crown.
Raven Quest Part 2
The Raven moves behind the Forge area near a locked door.
Objectives:
- Kill Diamond Spiders
- Defeat a Prismarine Spider
- Obtain Snowite
After completing this, you receive the Red Cave Key, which opens the new cave.
Exploring the New Cave (Raven Cave)
Once unlocked, the Raven Cave introduces:
- New spider variants with higher HP
- Red-colored enemies that are slightly stronger than previous mobs
- New crystal formations and mining nodes
The difficulty increase is manageable, especially if you already have strong gear from earlier updates.
New Ores and Mining Additions
The update adds several new ores, though not all are immediately found in the main cave area. Some notable additions include:
- Heart Of The Island
- Stolen Heart
- Evil Eye
- Duranite
- Gulabite
- Moon Stone
- Frogite
- Coinite
Mining medium and large crystal nodes gives better chances at rare materials. Luck boosts from the update also help speed things up.
Secret Area and Advanced Quests
There is a hidden section within the new cave that unlocks additional Raven quests. These require:
- Prismatic Heart
- Stolen Heart
- Mining floating, medium, and large ice crystals
