Zombie Devil Raid is one of the most complained-about raids in Devil Hunter, especially for solo players. The boss hits hard, mob pressure is annoying, and many players fail before even reaching the final room. The good news is that this raid can be soloed safely with a simple cheese method.
With the right setup and positioning, you can clear the boss with minimal risk and even go semi-AFK once everything is in place. This guide breaks down the easiest solo strategy, required items, positioning tips, and how to help friends get credit if you are running with a group. What You Need Before Starting
Before entering the Zombie Devil Raid, make sure you prepare the following:
Sea Cucumber Contract (Highly Recommended)
This is the core of the cheese method.
- Easy to obtain
- Strong for both PvE and PvP
- Has long-range laser attacks
- Allows you to deal damage safely from distance
To get it, find a Sea Cucumber NPC, hold out an arm, and obtain the contract.
Optional: Greenshot / Green Point Weapon
Not mandatory, but very helpful.
- Adds extra DPS
- Very low requirements
- Easy to craft
- Speeds up the boss kill significantly
Gun-type skills and projectile attacks are also very useful throughout the raid.
Clearing the Raid as a Solo Player
While the raid is usually faster with multiple players, solo runs are completely viable.
- Enemy HP scales with more players
- Solo runs are safer once you know the mechanics
- Average solo clear time is around 10–15 minutes
Take your time clearing zombie mobs. Rushing is the main reason players die early.
Boss Room Cheese Position (Most Important Part)
Once you reach the boss room and clear the last mob, follow these steps carefully.
Step 1: Ignore the Leech Above
You do not need to kill the leech above you immediately. Focus on positioning first.
Step 2: Climb Into the Box Area
Move up into the small box structure in the boss room.
- The boss can be targeted from here
- Zombies cannot reach you properly
- You are mostly safe from boss attacks
Step 3: Attack From Range
From this spot, you can freely attack the Zombie Devil Boss.
- Spam Sea Cucumber laser skills
- Use gun skills and Greenshot for extra damage
- Mash the Sea Cucumber ability to fire multiple lasers
- Laser range easily reaches the boss
Your HP might be capped, but it does not matter since the boss cannot reliably hit you from this position.
How the Damage Works
The real damage comes from:
- Multiple Sea Cucumber laser beams
- Green Point critical laser attacks
- Extra projectile DPS from gun skills
Even if some skills miss, the sustained damage will slowly melt the boss. After a while, you can check the boss HP and see it drop to low bars without risking death.
Finishing the Boss and Getting Rewards
Once the boss reaches low HP:
- Continue attacking from the same position
- Do not drop down to fight directly
- Avoid melee combat at all costs
After the boss dies:
- Drop the hook to complete the raid
- You receive rewards for both boss kill and raid completion
- Loot may include Epic Devil Flesh and other materials
The Zombie Devil Raid looks intimidating, but with the Sea Cucumber contract and proper positioning, it becomes one of the safest raids to farm solo. This cheese method removes most of the risk, saves time, and works consistently even for players without high-end builds. If you are struggling with this raid or farming materials efficiently, mastering this strategy will make a huge difference in your Devil Hunter progression.
