What Is the Sancho Spec?
Sancho is a blood-based spec inspired by characters from the Project Moon universe. Instead of standard cooldown spam, this spec revolves around Hard Blood, a special resource generated by using skills. Certain abilities change or gain stronger versions once enough Hard Blood is built up.
Sancho is designed for aggressive players who enjoy high damage, form changes, and flashy animations.
Step 1: Enter the Sancho Dungeon Portal
To unlock Sancho, you must first obtain a special item dropped from a unique dungeon.
- The dungeon spawns as a portal
- It contains 10 waves
- Early waves are standard enemies
- Later waves include multiple bosses
- The final encounter features a cinematic boss fight with cutscenes
This dungeon is similar in structure to previous endgame content like Kokushibo, but with more emphasis on story presentation.
Step 2: Clear All Waves and Defeat the Final Boss
As you progress through the waves:
- Enemies become stronger over time
- Friendly fire is enabled, so positioning matters
- Boss waves appear around the later stages
During the final fight:
- A full story cutscene triggers
- A QTE (press space repeatedly) sequence appears
- You must survive and finish the encounter to continue

Step 3: Get the Sancho Item (Very Important)
The Sancho unlock item has a limited drop rule.
- Only one player receives the item
- You usually must be MVP or deal the highest damage
- Public servers make this much harder
- Private servers or coordinated groups are strongly recommended
If you receive the item, store it safely. You will need it to unlock the spec.
Step 4: Obtain the Vampire Spec
Before using the Sancho item, you must meet one more requirement.
- You need the Vampire spec
- Vampire is obtained using a Stone Mask
- Use the Stone Mask on Standless
Once you have Vampire, you can proceed to the final step.
Step 5: Use the Sancho Item
With Vampire equipped:
- Use the Sancho item
- The transformation will trigger
- Sancho will be added to your specs
At this point, Sancho is fully unlocked and ready to use.
Sancho Skills and Passives Overview
Sancho comes with several unique mechanics.
Key passives:
- Hard Blood
Using skills generates Hard Blood, which enhances certain abilities. - Blood Fiend
50% chance to heal half the damage dealt. However, the spec becomes much weaker in rain.
