What Is the 5th Anniversary Update in Cookie Run Kingdom?
The 5th Anniversary update marks a major turning point in Cookie Run Kingdom’s story and gameplay. It introduces the playable version of Dark Enchantress Cookie, continues the Beast storyline, raises the level cap, and adds multiple quality-of-life improvements. These updates are split across three months, with each phase bringing new content, events, and rewards.
January 2026 Update – Main Anniversary Launch
Dark Enchantress Cookie Becomes Playable

The January update officially introduces Dark Enchantress Cookie as a playable character. She is a middle-position Magic Cookie and the first to use the new Chaos element. Instead of being labeled as a Legendary, she belongs to a new Witch class, designed to stand alongside groups like Ancients, Beasts, and Dragons. Her banner will be limited, meaning she will not be added to the standard gacha until later.
New Epic Cookie: Mold Dough Cookie

Mold Dough Cookie arrives as a frontline Charge Cookie, also using the Chaos element. He is designed to absorb damage and push forward in battle, making him a strong tank-style option for many teams.
