Required Units and What Actually Matters
You do not need a full meta team to clear all trials. Some units are mandatory, while others only make the run easier.
Required Units
- Goku – Mandatory for the trials
- Yuji – Mandatory for damage control and spawn killing
- Idol (Farm Unit) – Required for economy management
Optional Units
- Kisuke – Not required, but makes later phases safer
- Bulma – Optional farm support, not necessary
- Other units – Not needed and should not be placed
Avoid placing unnecessary units, as accidental hits on the boss can fail certain quests.
Phase 1 Strategy (Waves 1–24)
The main goal in Phase 1 is not attacking Moro directly while collecting keys safely.
Step-by-Step
- Place your Idol immediately for economy
- Place Yuji in a position where he kills mobs but does NOT hit the boss
- Auto-upgrade your farms
- Kill enemies and collect keys manually
- Never let Moro absorb the green key
- Use Smite Moro multiple times to progress
Once Moro is defeated:
- Move Yuji forward
- Spawn kill enemies
- AFK until Wave 24
Phase 2 Strategy (Waves 24–49)
Phase 2 repeats the same concept but becomes more active.
Key Rules
- Do not let units attack Moro
- Yellow keys can be missed if necessary
- Green keys must always be collected
- Enemies now spawn from both sides
Tips
- Keep Yuji positioned carefully
- Repeat key collection and Smite Moro
- Expect clone enemies that give extra energy
- After Moro dies, move Yuji forward and AFK
At Wave 49, sell Yuji and reposition him further back to avoid accidental boss damage.
Phase 3 Strategy (Soul Stab Phase)
This is the most dangerous phase if you are not paying attention.
Important Mechanic: Soul Stab
- Moro will announce Soul Stab
- When this happens, immediately sell Yuji
- Re-place Yuji once the attack finishes
Failing to sell Yuji during Soul Stab can cause unwanted boss hits and fail the trial.
What to Do
- Continue collecting keys
- Smite Moro repeatedly
- Soul Stab is allowed up to three times only
- After Moro dies, reposition Yuji forward
AFK until Wave 74 after completing this phase.
Phase 4 Strategy (Stun & Shield Phase)
This phase tests positioning rather than damage.
Objectives
- Do not get stunned
- Break shields safely
- Avoid teleport-based attacks
Safe Method
- Place Yuji far back so teleport attacks miss
- Let shield mechanics play out naturally
- Only attack after shields are fully broken
Once complete, you can safely AFK until Wave 99.
Final Phase Strategy (Wave 99 Completion)
This is the cleanup phase.
What to Do
- Sell Yuji
- Place Yuji at the very back
- Activate escape abilities when needed
- Apply Kido effects: Slow Kido for control, Stun Kido for safety
- Heal when necessary
At this point, you are simply waiting for the game to finish.
Recommended Kido Setup
- 45% Slow Kido – Best for survival-based objectives
- Stun-on-hit Kido – Helps control boss mechanics
- Damage Kidos are not required
The trials focus on survival and restrictions, not raw damage.
