The Forge recently received a major update that introduced a brand-new maze, and hidden at the end of it is one of the most valuable secrets in the game. The Hidden Angel Room is where you can find the Heavenly Pickaxe, but reaching it is not simple.
The maze is designed to loop endlessly unless you follow the correct route. This guide explains everything you need to know, from unlocking the area to the exact turns you must take to reach the Angel Room. Requirements Before Entering the Hidden Angel Room
Before you can even access the maze, there are several requirements you must complete. First, your character must reach Level 70. This is required to unlock the Frost Spire Expanse. Once unlocked, you must use the Portal Tool to access this area. Next, you need to obtain Coinite, which is used as a travel cost. Coinite can be farmed by mining:
- Medium red crystals
- Large red crystals
- Heart of the Island stone
All of these can be found inside the Raven Caves. You only need one Coinite to proceed.
How to Reach Iceberg Island
Once you have at least one Coinite, head to the pier at the edge of Island 3. Talk to the ship captain and choose the option to cross to the other side. This consumes one Coinite and transports you to Iceberg Island, also known as Island 4. After arriving, move forward until you find a massive hole in the ground. Jump straight down into it to enter the maze that leads to the Hidden Angel Room.
Hidden Angel Room Maze Route
The maze is designed to trap players in loops if they take the wrong turns. Follow this route carefully from the moment you enter.
- Go straight until you reach the first T junction, then turn left
- At the second T junction, turn left
- At the third T junction, turn left
- At the fourth T junction, turn right
- At the fifth T junction, turn right
- Continue straight through the crossroads until you reach the Fungi Shop
- This confirms you are on the correct path
- From the same crossroads, take the right path
- At the next T junction, turn left
- At the following junction, turn right
- Turn right again at the next junction
- At the final T junction, turn left
- Keep moving straight to reach the Hidden Angel Room
Once you enter the final area, it will be obvious that you’ve reached the correct location.
Heavenly Pickaxe Location
Inside the Hidden Angel Room, you will find the Heavenly Pickaxe. This is the main reward for completing the maze and is one of the most sought-after tools in The Forge. Make sure to grab it before leaving the area.
The Hidden Angel Room in The Forge is not something you will find by accident. Between the level requirement, Coinite cost, and the confusing maze layout, preparation and precision are key.
As long as you follow the maze directions carefully, you can reach the Angel Room without getting stuck in loops. If you’re aiming to unlock the Heavenly Pickaxe, this route is the only path that leads you there.
