Traits Sailor Piece Guide, How to Reroll & Best One to Use!

Traits are one of the most important progression systems in Sailor Piece, especially once you start focusing on higher damage, faster clears, and tougher bosses. A good trait can massively boost your overall performance, while a bad one can slow your progress. This guide explains what traits are, how to reroll them, and which trait is currently the best to aim for. Also check out our Fisch Codes for more rewards!

What Are Traits in Sailor Piece?

Traits are passive buffs that apply directly to your character. Once you roll a trait, it permanently increases your stats until you reroll it. These buffs usually affect damage, defense, and skill cooldowns, making traits a key factor in both PvE grinding and boss fights. Every trait comes with a multiplier. Higher rarity traits offer stronger bonuses, which is why rerolling traits becomes very important in late game.

How Trait Reroll Works

To get or change a trait, you need an item called Trait Reroll.

How to Get Trait Reroll

Trait Rerolls can be obtained from:

  • All World Bosses
  • Regular mobs (low drop chance)

Because the drop rate from mobs is low, farming world bosses is the most reliable way to collect Trait Rerolls.

Trait Reroll Chances

When you use a Trait Reroll, the game randomly assigns a trait based on rarity chances:

  • Common: 50%
  • Uncommon: 28%
  • Rare: 15%
  • Epic: 5%
  • Legendary: 1%
  • Mythical: 0.25%

This means getting high-tier traits requires patience and a lot of rerolls.

Best Trait in Sailor Piece Right Now

Transcendent Trait (Best Overall)

The best trait currently available in Sailor Piece is Transcendent, which belongs to the Mythical tier.

Buffs provided:

  • 1.65x Defense
  • 1.75x Damage
  • 20% Cooldown Reduction

This trait is extremely strong because it boosts all three core stats at once. The cooldown reduction alone makes combat feel much smoother, especially for fruit users and skill-heavy builds. If you manage to roll this trait, it is highly recommended to keep it.

Trait Rarity Breakdown and Buff Overview

Common Traits

Common traits offer small boosts and are mainly useful early game.

  • 1.05x Defense / 1.15x Damage
  • 1.15x Defense / 1.10x Damage
  • 10% Cooldown Reduction

These traits should be rerolled once you have access to better options.

Uncommon Traits

Uncommon traits provide balanced improvements.

  • 1.20x Defense / 1.20x Damage
  • 1.15x Defense / 1.25x Damage
  • 1.10x Defense / 1.15x Damage with 5% Cooldown Reduction

Decent for mid-game, but not ideal long-term.

Rare Traits

Rare traits start to feel impactful.

  • 1.15x Defense / 1.30x Damage
  • 1.15x Defense / 1.25x Damage with 5% Cooldown Reduction
  • 1.10x Defense / 1.35x Damage

Good stopping point if you are low on rerolls.

Epic Traits

Epic traits are strong and noticeable.

  • 1.35x Defense / 1.40x Damage
  • 1.35x Defense / 1.30x Damage with 10% Cooldown Reduction
  • 1.55x Defense / 1.30x Damage

Very solid for both grinding and bosses.

Legendary Traits

Legendary traits offer powerful stat boosts.

  • 1.70x Defense / 1.45x Damage
  • 1.40x Defense / 1.40x Damage with 15% Cooldown Reduction
  • 1.45x Defense / 1.50x Damage with 10% Cooldown Reduction

These are excellent traits and worth keeping if you do not want to gamble for Mythical.

Mythical Traits

The highest rarity traits in the game.

  • 1.50x Defense / 1.55x Damage with 25% Cooldown Reduction
  • 1.85x Defense / 1.65x Damage with 15% Cooldown Reduction
  • 1.65x Defense / 1.75x Damage with 20% Cooldown Reduction (Transcendent)

Any Mythical trait is strong, but Transcendent stands above the rest.

When Should You Reroll Traits?

Early-game players should not focus too much on traits. It is better to save Trait Rerolls until you have:

  • A strong weapon or fruit
  • Access to world bosses
  • Enough rerolls to avoid getting stuck with Common traits

Mid to late game is when trait optimization truly matters.

Traits play a massive role in how strong your character feels in Sailor Piece. While rerolling can be frustrating due to low chances, landing a high-tier or Mythical trait can completely change your damage output and survivability. If you are aiming for the strongest possible build, Transcendent is the trait you should be chasing, but even Legendary and Epic traits can carry you far if used wisely.
