Bee Swarm Simulator Update Guide: Bee Bear Quests, Dapper Quest, Carpenter Bee, and More!

The latest Bee Swarm Simulator update is finally live, and it brings a large batch of changes that affect quests, balance, visuals, and overall performance. This update is not just about adding new content, but also improving how the game feels, especially for mid to late-game players. From new Bee Bear quests to a major Carpenter Bee buff, there are plenty of things worth paying attention to. Also check out our Bee Swarm Simulator Beginner Guide for New Players!

Five New Bee Bear Quests Added

Onett has added five additional Bee Bear quests, continuing the Beesmas storyline. These quests feature long and unique dialogue and are clearly designed for experienced players due to their difficulty.

Completing these five new quests rewards you with a Cub Buddy Voucher, not a brand-new Cub Buddy. This means the Cub Buddy itself has not been released yet, only the voucher for future use. Some of the requirements in these quests include:

  • Large pollen collection tasks
  • Defeating Vicious Bee multiple times
  • Progressing in specific fields or areas

These quests are meant to be a serious challenge rather than quick completions.

New Dapper Bear Quest and 13th Beequip Slot

A new Dapper Bear quest has also been added, finally unlocking the 13th Beequip slot. This is a very important upgrade, as Bequips play a big role in boosting hive performance.

The new Dapper quest focuses heavily on:

  • Planters
  • Nectar collection
  • Sticker-related objectives

This confirms that the sticker system is becoming more integrated into core gameplay rather than being just a side feature.

Carpenter Bee Buff Explained

One of the biggest balance changes in this update is the Carpenter Bee buff.

Previously, Carpenter Bee’s Gifted Hive Bonus used a standard percentage-based bonus. With this update, the bonus is now multiplicative, which makes a huge difference.

This change means:

  • Much stronger scaling in late game
  • Better synergy with other hive bonuses
  • Carpenter Bee becoming a viable and powerful option again

For many players, this buff alone makes adjusting their hive composition worth considering.

Tide Popper Changes and Bug Fixes

The Tide Popper also received a notable adjustment. The Mark Duration Hive Bonus now applies to Precise Marks, which improves its overall effectiveness.

In addition, a bug that caused pollen tool multipliers to apply twice in certain situations has been fixed. This results in more accurate pollen calculations and fairer gameplay.

Visual and Performance Improvements

This update includes several visual changes that are tied to performance improvements, such as:

  • Updated flame and mark effects
  • New coconut animations
  • Slight glow or visual changes to bees
  • Overall lighting adjustments across the map

While some of these changes look cosmetic, they are mainly aimed at improving game stability and performance.

Other Notable Additions

There are a few extra changes worth mentioning:

  • Improvements to Star Stickers like Black Star and Shining Star
  • Petal quests now appearing within Polar Bear quests
  • Some quests becoming repeatable
  • Server stability improvements and scheduled reboots

This Bee Swarm Simulator update delivers meaningful content and important balance improvements. The new Bee Bear quests provide fresh challenges, the Dapper Bear quest adds long-term progression value, and the Carpenter Bee buff significantly changes hive-building strategies. Combined with performance upgrades and bug fixes, this update sets a solid foundation for future content and gives players plenty of reasons to jump back into the game.
