These Obelisks are scattered around Tidefall and must be completed to open a hidden path inside the Tidefall Castle. How the Obelisk Puzzle Works in Fisch
Each Obelisk in Tidefall requires a specific fish to be offered. Most of these are hunt-exclusive exotic fish, meaning you cannot get them through normal fishing. Once the correct fish is turned in, that Obelisk is completed. You must complete all Obelisks to fully solve the puzzle and unlock the secret path inside Tidefall Castle.

Gold Obelisk
- Location: Collapsed Ruins
- Required Fish: Goldwraith
- Notes: Exotic hunt fish from Crowned Ruins
Purple Obelisk
- Location: Tidefall, directly opposite the shop
- Required Fish: Omnithal
- Notes: Exotic hunt fish from Sunken Reliquary
Red / Orange Obelisk
- Location: Tidefall, behind the shop
- Required Fish: Pliosaur
- Notes: Exotic hunt fish from Collapsed Ruins
Sky Blue Obelisk
- Location: Tidefall, opposite the waterfall near the bridge
- Required Fish: Reef Titan
- Notes: Exotic hunt fish from Coral Bastion
White Obelisk
- Location: Left side of the Tidefall waterfall
- Required Item: Sparkling Dripstone
- Notes: Trash item from the Tidefall Bestiary
Once the correct item or fish is offered, the Obelisk will activate and count toward puzzle completion.
How to Open Tidefall Castle
After completing every Obelisk, head toward the green, plant-covered area in Tidefall. Glide over the water to reach the Tidefall Castle.
Inside the castle, you will find a gate that was previously locked. Completing the Obelisk puzzle permanently unlocks this gate, granting access to the inner area of the castle.
Catching the Plesiosaur After Unlocking the Gate
Once the castle gate is open, you gain access to the Plesiosaur. This fish can still appear during hunts, but unlocking the castle gives you another reliable way to encounter it. The Plesiosaur has divine secret rarity, meaning its spawn rate is extremely low. Be prepared to use hunt totems repeatedly and wait patiently.
