All UWST Crew Mate Locations in Arknights Endfield (Valley Reboot Optional Mission)

While progressing through the early story of Arknights Endfield, the main mission Valley Reboot quietly introduces an optional objective that many players accidentally miss. This side task asks you to rescue several trapped UWST crew mates scattered around the area. Completing it not only gives extra rewards but also provides valuable EXP, which is extremely helpful during the early game.

How to Start the UWST Crew Mate Rescue Mission

During the Valley Reboot mission, you will eventually exit toward the deployment area. Before heading straight there, pay attention to the right side of the path. You will hear an UWST crew member calling for help. Interacting with this NPC will automatically activate the optional mission “Rescue All Trapped UWST Crew Mates.”

Instead of moving forward to the deployment zone, circle around the nearby hill. Here, you will encounter several Landbreakers blocking the path. Defeat all of them to safely reach the first crew mate.

After clearing the enemies, climb up to the platform and speak with the first UWST crew member. He explains that two more of his teammates are still stuck somewhere nearby. This conversation updates the optional mission and points you toward the remaining NPCs.

Second UWST Crew Mate Location

From the first rescue point, climb back down and take the left path. You will notice a fire burning in the distance, which serves as a useful landmark. Along this route, another group of Landbreakers will appear. Defeat them before interacting with the second trapped UWST crew mate. Once you talk to him, continue moving forward along the same path instead of turning back.

Third UWST Crew Mate Location

The final UWST crew mate is located further ahead. Keep moving to the right and upward until you reach a raised platform with stairs. The last NPC is standing there, and interacting with him will complete the optional rescue mission.

Right behind this final crew mate, you will also find a blue chest. Make sure to open it before returning to the main story, as it contains extra rewards that are easy to miss.
