Sandleaf is one of the most important plants in Arknights: Endfield, especially once you reach the mid to late game stage. This material becomes essential for advanced crafting and endgame machines, but many players struggle to find it or farm it efficiently. Also check out our Arknights Endfield Codes for more rewards!
Sandleaf does not appear early in the game, and manual farming is slow and tiring. The good news is that with the right setup, you only need one Sandleaf to start a fully automated farming system that produces unlimited resources. This guide explains where to find Sandleaf and how to build a reliable auto farm in your base.
Where to Find Sandleaf in Arknights: Endfield
Sandleaf becomes available after you finish the Origin Loading Region and move into the Power Plateau area. You will not find this plant anywhere before that point. In Power Plateau, look for areas with orange-colored soil. Almost every spot with this soil color has a chance to spawn Sandleaf.
The easiest location to check is around the first teleporter in the region. This area usually has multiple Sandleaf plants nearby. You only need to collect one Sandleaf. After that, you can return to your base and let machines handle the rest of the farming process.
Base Preparation for Sandleaf Auto Farming
You do not need an Outpost or a special external location for this setup. Any open space in your base is enough. The build is flexible and can be moved later if needed.
Machines required:
- Seed Picking Unit
- Planting Unit
- Conveyor Belt
- Electric Pylon
- Shredding Unit
- Protocol Stash
This setup is based on a loop system, allowing Sandleaf to reproduce endlessly without manual input.
How to Build the Sandleaf Auto Farm
Place the Seed Picking Unit first, with the arrow facing to the right. This will be the main direction of the build. Next, place the Planting Unit two blocks away from the Seed Picking Unit. The gap is important so you can place an Electric Pylon between them to ensure stable power supply.
Connect the Seed Picking Unit to the Planting Unit using two conveyor belts, since the output uses more than one lane. From the Planting Unit’s output, create a conveyor path that loops back into the Seed Picking Unit. Insert one Sandleaf into the Seed Picking Unit. Once active, the system will start multiplying:
- 1 becomes 2
- 2 becomes 4
- 4 becomes 8
This loop continues indefinitely. Make sure part of the output stays inside the loop, or the system will stop.
How to Process Sandleaf into Sandleaf Powder
- After Sandleaf production is stable, you can start processing it.
- Place the Shredding Unit one block away from the Planting Unit, with the arrow facing outward.
- Connect only one conveyor belt from the Planting Unit to the Shredding Unit. This ensures that half of the Sandleaf stays in the loop.
- The Shredding Unit converts 1 Sandleaf into 3 Sandleaf Powder.
Production is very fast, so a single conveyor cannot handle the output properly.
To fix this, place a Protocol Stash near the Shredding Unit and connect it using three conveyor belts. The Protocol Stash automatically sends items to the Base Core every 10 seconds while using very little electricity.
Sandleaf Powder is a key material for the Grinding Unit, one of the most important endgame machines. Almost all high-tier recipes require this material, making automated Sandleaf farming a necessity rather than an option. With this setup, a single Sandleaf can turn into thousands of Sandleaf Powder without any manual effort.
Sandleaf is a crucial resource in Arknights: Endfield once you reach mid and late game content. By finding it in Power Plateau and setting up a simple loop-based auto farm, you can secure a permanent supply with minimal effort.
Once built, the system runs on its own. No more running around the map or manually harvesting plants. Just let the machines work and focus on upgrading your base and progressing through endgame content.
