How the Naughty Egg Hunt Works
When you locate an egg, you must take a photo of it using the camera icon in your menu. Do not use the Birdwatching camera, as it will not count. Make sure the egg is clear, in focus, and that its name appears on the screen when you take the photo. This confirms the egg as found. After the game registers the photo, you are free to delete it from your album if you do not want your storage filled with egg pictures.
Naughty Egg Hunt Rewards
Each egg you successfully photograph rewards you with Gold and Wishing Stars. While these are useful, the main prize comes from completing all 16 days of the event. After finding every egg, you unlock the Onsen Boiled Egg recipe. At the moment, this is the only known way to obtain this recipe, making the event a must-complete for collectors and cooking fans.
Heartopia Naughty Egg Hunt Locations
Below are the known egg locations based on the early days of the event.
First Egg Location
The first egg can be found on a fencepost behind the Naughty NPC who starts the quest. As you walk up the ramp toward the NPC from Azure’s position, look to the left side of the fencepost at the corner. The egg sits clearly on top once you get close.
Second Egg Location
The second egg is easy to miss because it blends in with the environment. Head to the ice skating rink entrance and look for the snow deer statue. The egg is resting directly on top of the deer’s head, located on the right side of the stairs leading into the rink.
Third Egg Location
For the third egg, go behind Blanc’s event setup area. Look underneath the staircase that leads up toward the slides and the snowman. The egg is tucked under the stairs, so adjust your camera angle to spot it clearly.
Fourth Egg Location
The fourth egg is hidden behind Blanc’s temporary pop-up shop. Walk around the back of the stall, and you should be able to see it without needing to climb or jump.
Fifth Egg Location
The fifth egg is a lavender-colored one located at the Onsen area. Check the top-right corner of Massimo’s temporary cooking stall. If you want to appear in the photo with the egg, you can climb onto the roof by jumping from the snow blocks behind the ice rink.
6 Day Location
Egg Day 6 Heartopia Location (Azure Cracked Egg)
The Egg Day 6 item only becomes available after the February 5 reset. If your server hasn’t reset yet, the egg simply won’t appear. Start by teleporting to the Winter Event area, which is the main snow-themed event hub that most players already know. Once you arrive:
- Walk up the stairs in the Winter Event area
- You’ll spot a snowman near those stairs
- Look at the railing above the stairs — the Azure Cracked Egg is sitting right on top of it
This egg has a cracked blue design and is easy to see when you stand in the correct spot. Pick it up to complete your Egg Day 6 collection. If you’ve been collecting eggs since Day 1, you should now have six eggs in total, with ten more still scheduled to release.
Ornament Egg Day 6 Location
There is also a special ornament you can collect alongside the main egg. Use fast travel to the upper-left section of the city map, close to the area with a large tree that looks like the Grand Elder Tree and not far from Plot 4. You’ll know you’re in the right place if you see:
- A large tree
- A windmill nearby
- A signboard in the area
The ornament rotates around the signboard. Wait until it drops to a lower position, then jump to grab it. Timing matters a bit here, so take your time and don’t rush the jump.
The Heartopia Naughty Egg Hunt is simple but rewarding if you stay consistent each day. By following the correct photo method and knowing exactly where to look, you can finish the event without frustration. If you are aiming to collect rare recipes and event-exclusive content, completing all 16 days of this egg hunt is absolutely worth the effort.
