Quests in Excry are more than simple side tasks. They guide your early progression, unlock mechanics, and introduce you to the world and its factions. Some quests teach combat basics, while others push you into dangerous areas where you start building real experience. Here’s a full breakdown of all the currently known quests in Excry and what you need to do to complete them. Also check out our Excry Official Links for more info regarding the game.

1. Elarion Starter Quest (Main Beginning Questline)

This is the first major questline you receive when spawning into the game. It works as a full tutorial and introduces most core systems. The quest starts with Elarion, who explains your situation and directs you to the blacksmith to pick a starter weapon.

He gives you enough Nebulae to buy one. After choosing your weapon, you return to Elarion and receive a combat guide. You are then sent to Kyran the Librarian, who asks you to read the combat manual and report back. Once done, Kyran directs you to the Village Chief.

If you are below level 10, the Chief assigns errand-style mini quests. You deliver letters to a random basic class trainer, then help Syrrhal in the Tainted Pit by carrying lost artillery (green boxes) out of a dangerous parasite zone.

After finishing this, the Chief sends you to Alliria the nurse, who asks you to escort a patient to Saul at the Lakeside of Elia. Once delivered, you return to the Chief.

At level 10 or after finishing the earlier steps, you are sent to investigate the Whispering Hollow. There you find injured scouts and interact with a mysterious Monolith. The Monolith lets you choose between two factions:

  • Path of Faith (The High Sanctum)
  • Path of The End (The Shattered)

This choice ends the starter questline.

2. The Village Chief Quest (Vorain Quest)

All Available Quest in Excry Guide

The Village Chief offers repeatable or follow-up tasks after the starter chain. These quests usually involve reconnaissance and helping stabilize nearby areas.

Reward:

  • Experience points
  • A chest with items

This quest is a solid way to gain early resources and level up faster.

3. Lost Scouting Party Quest

All Available Quest in Excry Guide

In this quest, you are asked to search for an injured scouting group. The objective is to locate and assist wounded comrades in the field. This mission pushes players to explore outside safe zones and prepares them for harder encounters. It’s also a good source of early combat experience.

4. Monster Hunter Quests

The Monster Hunter introduces a special combat mechanic by teaching you how to perform Death Blow. After learning it, you receive a contract to hunt a specific monster. Your task is to:

  1. Kill the assigned monster
  2. Collect a monster part
  3. Return it to the Monster Hunter

These quests focus heavily on combat mastery and farming monster drops.

5. The Lost Child Quest

The Lost Child quest revolves around finding a missing child somewhere in the world. It encourages exploration and careful navigation through hostile areas. While details can vary depending on progression, the quest is designed to test awareness and survival skills rather than raw combat.

6. Mana Technique Quests

Mana Technique quests focus on unlocking and improving your understanding of mana-based abilities. These quests usually involve training-style objectives or interaction with specific NPCs. Completing them helps expand your combat options and gives access to advanced techniques that are important later in the game.

Quests in Excry create a clear path from beginner training to faction decisions and advanced combat systems. The starter chain teaches the basics, while later quests reward exploration, hunting, and skill mastery. Completing every available quest early gives you better gear, more experience, and a stronger understanding of how the world works. If you follow the questlines in order, progression feels smoother and you’ll be ready for tougher challenges ahead.
