Excry doesn’t just test your reflexes in combat. Your character build plays a big role in how well you survive and perform in fights. Understanding how stats work helps you decide where to invest your points and what kind of playstyle you want to develop.
This guide breaks down every stat in Excry, including character status, progression systems, and how each attribute affects gameplay. Also check out our Excry Official Links for more info regarding the game.
Player Status – Vital Points Explained
Your character has 6 Vital Points, shown as green dots on your body. These dots represent your physical condition.
- Green dots mean your body parts are healthy
- Red dots indicate injuries or damage
If you suffer injuries, your performance can drop. To recover, you must visit a doctor NPC or use special equipment that treats injuries. Ignoring injuries makes later encounters much harder, especially during longer runs.
Managing Vital Points is part of survival. Even strong builds can fail if you enter fights while injured.
Character Progression System
The Character Progression interface shows how your character evolves over time. It tracks several important systems:
- Class skills and unlocked abilities
- Weapon proficiency and mastery progress
- Path of mastery, which shows long-term skill growth
- Talents and blessings, including passive bonuses
This system reflects your overall development. As you level up and specialize, your character becomes more efficient in specific combat roles.
How Skill Points Work in Excry
You receive skill points every level. These points are used to improve your core attributes. In addition to manual allocation:
- Your race grants bonus points to certain skills every few levels
- You also gain 1 flexible point per level to invest where you want
Choosing where to spend these points determines your build focus, whether it is durability, speed, magic, or hybrid performance.
All Attributes in Excry Explained
Excry uses four main attributes as the foundation of combat performance.
1. Vitality (Health)
Vitality controls how much damage you can take before being knocked down.
- Base HP: 175
- Each point in Vitality adds 0.25 HP to your base health
- Auto healing is fixed at 2 HP every 2 seconds and is not affected by Vitality
This stat is best for players who want stronger survivability and safer frontline combat.
2. Agility
Agility is essential for movement and PvP performance. It improves your responsiveness and overall mobility.
- Base Agility: 150
- Each point adds 0.50 to your base agility
- Every 20 Agility grants 1 extra Health
Agility benefits almost every playstyle. Faster movement and better stamina handling make it easier to dodge, reposition, and control fights.
3. Affinity
Affinity governs your magical power and mana capacity.
- Base Mana: 100
- Each point increases base mana by 0.75
If you rely on spells or special abilities, Affinity is a key investment. Higher mana pools allow longer ability chains and more flexible combat options.
4. Psionics
Psionics represents mental strength and spiritual control. It improves your overall performance and unlocks advanced options.
- Each point boosts overall stats by 0.35
- Enables access to exclusive moves and talents
Psionics is ideal for advanced builds that want extra scaling and access to specialized abilities.
Choosing the Right Stat Build
There is no single best stat distribution in Excry. Your ideal build depends on your preferred playstyle.
- Tanky fighters benefit from higher Vitality
- Mobile duelists gain more from Agility
- Spell-focused builds prioritize Affinity
- Hybrid or advanced builds invest in Psionics
Balancing stats is often more effective than focusing on only one attribute. A well-rounded build improves both survivability and flexibility in different combat situations. Mastering Excry’s stat system gives you more control over how your character performs in battle. By knowing what each attribute does and how progression works, you can shape a build that fits your style and handle tougher encounters with confidence.
