The Contracts update in Plants vs Brainrots adds a new limited-time event focused on teamwork and competition. Players on the same server work together to finish rotating missions, but only the top contributors earn trophies. Since those trophies unlock exclusive rewards, understanding how the event works is important if you want to finish the reward track before it ends. What Is the Contracts Event in Plants vs Brainrots

The Contracts event is a server-wide challenge system introduced in the February 7, 2026 update. Each server receives timed missions that everyone can participate in. When players complete these missions, the system tracks individual contributions and ranks participants. While the entire server helps complete the objective, rewards are competitive. Only the highest contributors earn trophies, which are the main currency for unlocking event prizes.

How to Unlock the Contracts Event

You cannot access Contracts immediately as a new player. There are a few requirements:

  • First, you must complete your first rebirth in the game.
  • Rebirthing unlocks access to a special Portal.

After rebirthing, use the Portal to travel to the Central Island. This island is the main hub for the Contracts event. Once you arrive there, you can start participating in active missions with your server.

How Contracts Missions Work

Every Contracts mission runs on a five-minute timer. When a task appears, all players on the server can contribute at the same time. If the server finishes the objective before the timer expires, a new mission immediately replaces it and the timer resets.

Active servers can cycle through many tasks quickly. If the timer runs out before completion, players must wait until it ends before a new mission appears. Each mission records how much every player contributes. At the end of the round, players are ranked based on performance. Only the top three contributors receive trophies for that mission.

Trophy Rewards and Ranking System

Trophies are required to complete the event reward track. You need 22 trophies to finish the full progression path.

Completing the track unlocks several exclusive rewards:

  • El Tropharoni
  • Healing Halo
  • Olimpioni Limone Seed

Trophy distribution depends on your ranking in each mission:

  • 1st place: 3 trophies
  • 2nd place: 2 trophies
  • 3rd place: 1 trophy
  • 4th place and below: 0 trophies

Because only the top three earn rewards, competition can be intense on active servers.

Types of Contract Tasks

The event rotates between several mission categories. Common task types include:

  • Defeating Brainrots
  • Opening eggs
  • Gifting items
  • Leveling up plants
  • Purchasing and planting seeds
  • Buying and using gear items
  • Opening card packs

Each task favors different playstyles and resources, so preparation matters.

Tips to Earn Trophies Faster

To improve your ranking chances, keep extra resources ready. Save eggs, card packs, and currency so you can respond instantly when a relevant task appears. Fast reactions often determine whether you place in the top three. Playing on an active server also helps. More completed missions mean more chances to earn trophies.

The Contracts event adds a mix of cooperation and competition to Plants vs Brainrots. Success depends on both server activity and individual effort. By preparing resources and staying active during missions, you can collect trophies steadily and unlock the event’s limited rewards before time runs out.
