• If not unlocked, travel behind the teleporter hub and head toward the Spirit Roots side of the map
• Enter the large cavern behind the tree structure in the area

This cavern is the primary whale spawn zone. When a whale appears, it is very easy to spot due to its large size.

If no whale is present, the fastest method is server hopping. Join a new server and recheck the cavern until one spawns.

Required Gear to Catch Whales

Whales cannot be damaged effectively with weak equipment. You need gear that meets a minimum damage threshold. Recommended setup:
