1. Normal Giant Sammy

Break a Lucky Block features Normal Giant Sammy as the default patrol NPC that appears every round. His main job is to interrupt players who are carrying brainrots back to their base.

When he catches you holding a brainrot, he doesn’t eliminate you. Instead, he knocks you far away from your path, forcing you to run back and try again before your timer expires. This delay is what makes him frustrating, especially when you are transporting valuable loot.

The best strategy is to observe his walking pattern. Wait until he moves away from your area before breaking lucky blocks. If he starts approaching while you are mining, stop immediately and create distance. Public servers can actually help here because Sammy often targets other players, giving you safe windows to farm.

2. Hacker Sammy

Hacker Sammy appears during a timed server event that starts every 30 minutes and lasts for another 30 minutes. During this event, Normal Sammy transforms into a hacker-themed version with glitch effects and a computer setup.

A special glitch zone spawns at the back of the map, surrounded by neon barriers. Inside this area, certain lucky blocks gain a Glitch effect. Breaking these blocks guarantees Hacker-mutated brainrots, which sell for much higher value than normal ones.

Although the regular patrol disappears, Hacker Sammy actively chases players carrying brainrots and moves faster than usual. If he locks onto you, drop your brainrot briefly and wait until he switches targets. Then quickly grab it and head to safety. The goal during this event is simple: collect as many Hacker brainrots as possible before time runs out.

3. Pirate Sammy

Pirate Sammy arrives as part of a chaotic event where a giant pirate ship circles above the map. The ship constantly fires cannonballs at players below.

These cannonballs do not cause major damage, but they knock players around and disrupt farming routes. Carrying brainrots during this event becomes harder because sudden impacts can push you off course.

The real reason to play during Pirate Sammy’s event is the Hex trait. Lucky blocks marked with a floating green skull icon carry this special effect and provide a 6x income multiplier. When you see one, prioritize breaking it immediately, since other players will rush for the same opportunity.

4. Heartbreaker Sammy (Boss Fight)

Heartbreaker Sammy is a true cooperative boss encounter. When he appears, the server receives a message telling everyone to defeat him. He floats above the main play area in a dramatic aerial battle scene.

To join the fight, jump toward the boss area and your character will begin floating. While airborne, attack Heartbreaker Sammy with your pickaxe. Each hit deals a fixed 1 damage regardless of your equipment. Since the boss has 150 HP, the entire server must work together to land enough hits.

Defeating him triggers a global event where many lucky blocks gain the Heartbreak trait. This mutation provides a 7x income multiplier, making it one of the best farming windows in the game.

5. Cupid Sammy

Cupid Sammy appears alongside Heartbreaker Sammy during the Valentine event. He is not an enemy but an ally that assists in damaging the boss by firing arrows.

However, his arrows also fall toward the ground. If one hits a player, it launches them a long distance. This can interrupt farming or positioning during the boss fight, so staying aware of falling arrows is important.

After Heartbreaker Sammy is defeated, Cupid Sammy activates the Love trait across the map. This trait grants a 5x income multiplier on affected lucky blocks, offering another strong opportunity to farm cash.

Each Sammy variant in Break a Lucky Block changes how you should approach farming. Some require patience and positioning, while others create short but powerful income bursts.
