5 Element Eye & Golden Turtle Mobile Legends Guide!
The latest update in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang introduces two major Battlefield Effects that can completely shift how matches play out. If you have been focusing only on heroes and builds, you might be missing mechanics that can decide fights before they even start.
This update brings Element Eye during Golden Month and a new Golden Turtle mechanic. Both are live on the original server and they are not small changes. If used correctly, they can swing momentum, boost your economy, and create stronger team fight setups. Let’s break everything down clearly.
All 5 Element Eye Effects Explained

Element Eye lasts for a limited event period and spawns every 90 seconds in the jungle. There are four types that appear randomly across the map. There is also a rare chance they transform into a special Golden Month exclusive version. When you collect an Element Eye, your hero gains a temporary buff depending on its type.
1. Blue Eye – Power of Gale
- Grants 15% Movement Speed
- Activates after staying out of combat for 5 seconds
This helps with faster rotations, escapes, and repositioning. Perfect for roamers and side laners.
2. Green Eye – Power of Dryad
- Restores 2% Max HP per second
- Only works out of combat
- Stops for 5 seconds if you take damage
This is strong sustain between fights. Great for heroes that want to stay on the map longer without recalling.
3. Red Eye – Power of Burning
- Triggers every 5 seconds when dealing damage
- Applies a burn mark
- Deals 2% of enemy Max HP per second for 3 seconds
- Deals True Damage
This effect is very strong against tanky heroes. Since it deals true damage, it melts high HP targets in extended fights.
4. Purple Eye – Power of Lightning
- Triggers every 5 seconds when dealing damage
- Paralyzes main target and up to 2 nearby enemies
- Reduces their damage by 10%
- Slows them for 3 seconds
This is one of the strongest team fight tools. It adds crowd control and damage reduction at the same time. In skirmishes, it can completely disrupt enemy counterattacks.
5. Special Version: Blessing of Gold
If you obtain the rare Golden Element Eye, you gain:
- 5% extra Max HP
- Adaptive Attack
- Hybrid Regen
- Hybrid Defense
- Small bonus gold
- Duration: 60 seconds
This is basically a mini power spike. It boosts both survivability and damage, making it ideal before a team fight or objective contest.
Why Element Eye Changes Gameplay
These buffs stack with your hero’s kit. If your team controls multiple Element Eyes at the right moment, you can temporarily dominate the battlefield. This mechanic rewards map awareness and jungle control. Teams that ignore it are giving away free advantages.
Golden Turtle – New Objective Twist

The second major Battlefield Effect is the Golden Turtle. When defeated, the Turtle now drops gold directly onto the ground. Here is the important part:
- The gold stays for only a few seconds
- Both teams can pick it up
- One player cannot collect everything alone
This means securing Turtle is not enough anymore. You must control the area immediately after killing it. Team coordination becomes much more important. If your team reacts faster and collects more of the dropped gold, you gain an instant economic advantage. Turtle fights will now be more chaotic and more rewarding for teams with better positioning.
The Element Eye system rewards smart timing and map control, while Golden Turtle increases the value of coordinated objective fights. These Battlefield Effects are not just visual changes. They directly affect gold flow, sustain, mobility, and team fight outcomes. If you want to climb faster, start tracking Element Eye spawn timing and prepare your team before Turtle fights. Ignoring these mechanics could cost you games. More Battlefield Effects are currently being tested, so the meta may shift even further soon. For now, mastering Element Eye and Golden Turtle should be your top priority.
