Becoming a Jinchuriki in Bloodlines is one of the most powerful progression paths in the game. However, the process is not simple. You need preparation, help from other players, and a clear understanding of each stage. If done correctly, you can unlock massive stat boosts and eventually gain full control of your tailed beast. Here is a complete and structured guide on how to become a Jinchuriki and progress all the way to Stage 4.
How to Become Tailed Beast Jinchuriki Bloodlines
Step 1: Finding the Tailed Beast
At the moment, the only tailed beast available in Bloodlines is Shukaku.
To fight Shukaku:
- Go to Chucker’s Edge.
- Follow the path leading to his arena.
- The boss gate will only open when he spawns.
Shukaku appears at random times. When he spawns, the server will receive a notification. Since he is a raid boss, other players will try to defeat him as well. It is strongly recommended to bring friends because this fight is not designed for solo players. If you already own a Shukaku Tail (dropped after defeating him), you can speak to the Beast Tamer NPC to manually spawn him.
Step 2: Obtaining the Tailed Beast Soul
After defeating Shukaku, he will be knocked down briefly. During this moment:
- Use a sealing skill such as Binding Seal.
- If you are ascended with Wood Suppression, use Wood Seal instead (recommended for future quests).
There is no guarantee you will receive the Tailed Beast Soul. This is usually the hardest part of the progression and may take multiple attempts. Another option is Beast Extraction, which allows you to steal a tailed beast from another Jinchuriki. However, you cannot steal from a Stage 4 Jinchuriki unless they have high sin.
Step 3: Becoming a Jinchuriki
Once you obtain the Shukaku Soul:
- Use the item.
- Your character will be stuck in the ground briefly.
- Another player must use Binding Seal on you during this time.
Two outcomes are possible:
- The sealing fails. You lose the soul and some life force.
- The sealing succeeds. You become a Jinchuriki.
Requirements:
- You must not have Archer’s Blessing.
- You must not have Rinnegan.
Even if all requirements are met, success is not guaranteed. Older characters have a higher chance of success, but it is still possible to become a Jinchuriki early if you have help.
All Stages Ability & How to Evolve Them All
Stage 1 Abilities
After successfully sealing Shukaku:
- Increased speed
- Increased HP regeneration
- Increased chakra regeneration
- M1: Roar attack (block bypass)
- M2: Grab attack that applies fire element
This is your base transformation.
Stage 2 Progression
To unlock Stage 2, you need Jin activations. Based on testing, around 30+ activations may be required.
You can:
- Activate your mode repeatedly
- Rejoin servers
- Reset using map respawn spots (use at your own risk)
Stage 2 keeps your previous buffs and adds enhanced M1 range attacks.
Stage 3: Berserk Mode
Stage 2 comes with a risk. You can go berserk and enter Stage 3 under two conditions:
- You are about to be gripped while Stage 2 is active
- You are low HP while Stage 2 is active
Stage 3 gives:
- Higher damage
- Faster speed
- Stronger regen
- Access to Jinchuriki Bomb
However:
- You lose control
- You cannot use jutsu
- When the timer ends, you die and lose life force
This stage is a risk mechanic, not a normal awakening.
Weakening the Seal (Important for Stage 4)
To gain control, you must weaken the seal by triggering Stage 3 multiple times.
The safe method:
- Activate Stage 2
- Have a friend attack and grip you
- Trigger berserk
To avoid losing life force:
- Bring a Senju player with Wood Suppression
- They apply wood stacks
- At 3 stacks, they use Wood Seal to shut down your mode safely
Repeat this process several times.
Getting the Beast Key
After going berserk enough times:
- Go to Rosemary Pit
- Speak to the frog statue NPC
- If eligible, you will receive the Beast Key
If it does not work, repeat the berserk process more times.
Stage 4 Awakening (Full Control)
Head to the expanse choke point near the waterfall monk NPC.
Steps:
- Stand on the meditation pillar
- Press K and select Meditate
- Enter your subconscious
- Speak to Shukaku
- Use the Beast Key and choose the brave option
You will fight Shukaku internally.
Important Tips:
- Learn to perfect block his punches
- Blocking enough times will stun him
- In Phase 2, his eyes glow red
- He uses Tail Beast Bomb
- Adjust timing because attacks become faster
For easier completion, bring a Senju outside:
- They can heal you using Wood Seal
- Healing has cooldown, so timing matters
If you die, you lose life force and must age up before buying another key.
Stage 4 Abilities (Shukaku Cloak)
Once you win, you unlock full control.
Abilities include:
- M1: AoE jump punch
- Chakra + M1: Tail Beast Bomb (applies sealing element)
- M2: Grab attack (works on sealed enemies)
- Chakra + M2: Sandstorm attack
Buffs:
- Massive speed boost
- High HP regen
- High chakra regen
- Immunity to environmental sandstorms
Becoming a Jinchuriki in Bloodlines is a long but rewarding process. The hardest parts are obtaining the Tailed Beast Soul and safely managing Stage 3 activations. With proper teamwork, especially with a Senju player, reaching Stage 4 becomes much more manageable. Once you fully control Shukaku, you gain one of the strongest power sets currently available in the game. Plan your progression carefully, bring reliable teammates, and take your time mastering each stage before pushing further.
