The latest update in Cookie Run: Kingdom quietly added one of the best free reward systems in the game: the Logbook. If you’ve been wondering how players are getting thousands of Crystals, Rainbow Cubes, Radiant Biscuit Dough, and even Cookie Cutters without spending, this system is the answer. This guide explains how the Logbook works, how to complete it efficiently, and how to maximize your Diamond (Crystal) income. Also check out our Cookie Run Kingdom Tier List and CRK Codes for more rewards!

What Is the Logbook in Cookie Run Kingdom?

The Logbook is a collection-based reward system tied to the Beast-Yeast story episodes. By collecting specific items like Monster Traces, Relic Fragments, Boss Clears, and Memory Fragments, you unlock milestone rewards. Major rewards include:

  • Up to 8,000 Crystals (Diamonds)
  • 4,000 Rainbow Cubes
  • Radiant Biscuit Dough
  • Soul Prism Chests
  • Special Cookie Cutters

It’s essentially a bonus reward track for clearing content smartly.

How to Farm Diamonds using LogBook

Step 1: Farm Monster Traces Efficiently

The easiest way to start is by playing Monster stages in Beast-Yeast episodes. Each monster drops “Traces,” and you need 40 Traces per monster to complete its Logbook entry. Trace drop rates depend on difficulty:

  • Story Mode → 1 Trace
  • Normal Mode → 2 Traces
  • Hard Mode → 3 Traces

If you can clear Hard mode, you only need about 14 runs. Story mode requires 40 runs.

Tip: Do not auto-repeat the same stage endlessly without checking progress. Once you hit 40 Traces, farming that monster no longer benefits the Logbook.

Step 2: Farm Boss Entries for Quick Crystals

Boss entries are much faster to complete. You only need 5 clears per boss. Clear counts by difficulty:

  • Hard Mode → 2 clears
  • Normal Mode → 3 clears
  • Story Mode → 5 clears

Each completed boss entry rewards 200 Crystals, making this one of the fastest Diamond sources in the system. Prioritize bosses first for quick rewards.

Step 3: Find Memory Fragments (Hidden Rewards)

Memory Fragments appear as glowing yellow circles in Beast-Yeast maps. To collect them:

  1. Enter the episode map
  2. Look for glowing yellow spots
  3. Tap them to collect

Each episode usually contains multiple fragments. These give coins and contribute toward Logbook completion. If you are short on Coins, this section helps a lot.

Step 4: Relic Fragments (RNG-Based Farming)

Relic Fragments are random drops from stages. Important points:

  • Drop chance increases with difficulty
  • Completely RNG-based
  • Takes time to finish

There is no shortcut here. The best strategy is to farm Monster Madness daily and let fragments accumulate naturally.

Best Strategy to Get More Diamonds

If your goal is maximizing Crystals:

  1. Clear all Boss entries first
  2. Farm Monster Traces on highest difficulty you can handle
  3. Collect all Memory Fragments per episode
  4. Let Relic Fragments accumulate passively

Completing sub-missions gives:

  • 100,000 Coins (for standard entries)
  • 200 Crystals (for boss entries)
  • Soul Prism Chests
  • Major milestone rewards

By fully clearing Episodes 9 and 10 Logbook entries, you unlock thousands of Diamonds without spending money.

Extra Farming Tip

When farming stages for Traces, pay attention to:

  • Biscuit drops
  • Resource farming efficiency

Choose stages that drop materials you actually need. This way, you farm Logbook progress and build your account at the same time.

The Logbook update is one of the most rewarding additions to Cookie Run Kingdom in recent patches. It turns regular story grinding into a high-value resource farm, especially for free-to-play players. If you focus on bosses first, farm Traces on higher difficulty, and collect Memory Fragments carefully, you can secure thousands of Crystals with steady effort. Take advantage of it early, clear episodes strategically, and your Diamond count will grow much faster than before.
