Penguin Companion Guide Heartopia – Location, Food & Bond Rewards

The latest update in Heartopia introduces a limited-time companion that many players are rushing to unlock: the Penguin Companion. Unlike regular pets, this one comes with a full bond level system and exclusive rewards that disappear once the event ends. Penguin Companion Location in Heartopia

The Penguin Companion is only available during the limited event period. You can find them in the Winter Area. Here’s how to locate them easily:

• Near the Ice Skating Rink
• Close to the Concert Portal
• Upper-right section of the map (near vendor stalls)

You’ll usually see several adult penguins and one baby penguin nearby. If they are not visible, wait a moment since they can shift positions within the area.

How to Feed the Penguin

To increase Bond Level, you must feed the penguin its preferred food.

Favorite Foods

• Sardines (easiest option)
• Shrimp / Prawn
• Small fish types

Why Sardines Are the Best Choice

Sardines are the most efficient option because:

• They can be fished near the Concert Portal
• Available in Old Sea and possibly Whale Sea
• High drop rate compared to other fish

Once you have the fish, place it in the feeding area and check the Animals menu to monitor bond progress.

Penguin Bond Level System & Rewards

The Penguin Companion has 5 main Bond Levels. Each level unlocks new features and bonuses.

Bond Level 1

• Unlock Animal Gifts
• Start receiving presents from the penguin

Bond Level 2

• Chance for Animal Visit to your house
• +15% open world gift probability
• Visit duration: 20 minutes

Bond Level 3

• Increased gift chance
• Additional trophy reward

Bond Level 4

• Unlock Life Fragment feature
• New interaction: Mimic Walking
• Visit duration increased to 30 minutes
• 100% interaction success rate
• Gift probability increases to 25%

Bond Level 5 (Final Level)

• Exclusive Penguin Family Trophy
• Maximum buff bonus
