The Pinion Aria Rod comes with a music-based mechanic, multiple quest stages, and one of the hardest final challenges in the game. What Is the Pinion Aria Rod?
The Pinion Aria Rod is a special quest rod tied to the Music Venue update. At first, you unlock a restricted version that:
- Cannot be enchanted
- Cannot be used everywhere
- Has limited functionality
After completing the full questline, you unlock its true form, which can then be enchanted and becomes extremely strong.
Final stats include:
- 142% Lure Speed
- 242% Luck
- Infinite Max KG
- 0 Control
- 4.2% Resilience
It is designed as a high-risk, high-reward rod.
Step 1 – Enter the Music Venue
To begin, you must access the Music Venue area.
Requirements:
- A Chaotic Enchant Relic
How to Get There:
- Find a whirlpool with a water spout.
- Enter it to reach Vertigo.
- Head into the Depths.
- Go near the merchant area.
- Jump across the waterfall platforms.
- Enter the black tunnel to reach Crystal Cove.
- Place your Chaotic Enchant Relic on the pedestal.
- The trapdoor opens — drop down to enter the Music Venue.
Inside, you will find:
- The Mysterious Songstress (new NPC)
- A weekend Black Market
Step 2 – Catch a Musical Fish
Talk to the Songstress to begin the quest. You must catch any musical fish, such as:
- Treble Bass
- DJ Octopus (recommended)
The DJ Octopus spawns right outside the trapdoor waterfall, making it the fastest option.
After catching it:
- Hold the fish
- Stand in front of the Songstress
- Spam click until the quest updates
Step 3 – Catch the Heavenly Harmonic Dove
Next, she asks for the Heavenly Harmonic Dove.
Location:
Above the Clouds (new bestiary area)
How to Reach It:
- She gives you a Hang Glider.
- Go to Castaway Cliff.
- Climb to the highest peak.
- Activate Shift Lock (important).
- Use the glider and fly through the rings.
- Follow all boost rings until you reach the cloud island.
Tip: Do this at night for better visibility.
Important Requirements:
- Use the Heaven’s Rod
- Apply the Long enchant
- Use Worm bait
Fish from the cloud edge until you catch the Heavenly Harmonic Dove.
Return to the Songstress.
Step 4 – 42 Perfect Note Challenge
You now unlock the restricted Pinion Aria Rod.
Your next objective:
Catch 42 fish in Crystal Cove using the rod
WITHOUT missing any falling notes.
Key points:
- If you miss one note, progress resets.
- Use Glitch Potions to double counts.
- Focus on timing, not speed.
This part is manageable with preparation.
Step 5 – The Final Boss Catch
This is the hardest step. You must catch ONE of the following using the Pinion Aria Rod:
- Megalodon
- Scylla
- Leviathan
- Colossal Dragon
And again:
No missed notes.
The difficulty comes from:
- Tiny control bar
- Boss fish mini-game mechanics
- Managing note timing while maintaining fish progress
This is the true skill check of the quest.

The Pinion Aria Rod questline is one of the most creative updates in Fisch so far. From gliding through the sky to rhythm-based fishing and boss challenges, it tests both movement and mechanical skill. It is not the easiest rod to unlock, but once fully upgraded, it becomes one of the strongest rods available. If you prepare properly and take your time with the note mechanics, you can complete it without too much frustration.
